I am a production trim carpenter, i have been using this router for round overs, morticing in strikes, i cut grooves in pocket doors, and used it to chamfer mdf to match v groove paneling. This this has plenty of power, runs smooth, and runs for a long time. I plan on buying a few more so i can leave them set up with different bits

A great tool to have lots of power in a small compact router

I have had different routers over the years and this one rates as high on the scale as my Dewalt 611. I wanted a cordless router and since I have several other makita power tools I decided on their palm router. It’s bskanced well which makes it easier to maneuver through intricate cuts.

Compact and comfortable to hold. Good battery life and quick charging. Power is acceptable.

Lightweight, easy to use. Drawback, do not use this drill for something that requires an impact drill (lag bolts, mechanical). This drill is for light duty, personal use. The clutches will break if used in commercial use.

Best portable drill on the market.

great small drill

This tool performs as well as my corded routers without the hassle of the cord. Power is good. I was concerned about the weight of the battery on top, but the balance is fine too. Battery lasts through several operations including rounding over tops, cutting dados and even plunge routing mortises

Nice compact yet powerful router.

Simply a fantastic tool. Love being able to move the router and not deal with a cord. Highly recommended. Plunge works great as well.

Great router, love the small handheld option!

Great little router. More than enough power and easy to handle. Only complaint is the hole in the base on the fixed router portion is too small to accommodate larger bits. Easy fix is to run a bit through it which I did.

It is my first time using a router. I used it to make some cabinet moulding. It worked great. I opted for the battery operated because I have a lot of 18V Makita tools and the batteries will work on all my other tools too.

I read lots of reviews before buying this kit and I could not be happier with my choice. This little router is a beast. Using a full round bit I did 20 feet on the corner of 3/4 ” maple plywood. I could move the router as fast as I wanted, no sign of a power lag, absolutely love this router.

Drill is compact yet powerful, for those hard to reach places. Speed control could be a little better, LED casts a shadow on your work. 2.0 AHr battery life is about right. Very happy with my purchase so far.

A lot more to the set than I thought, didn’t completely read what came with it. Only complaint is with the jigsaw, it doesn’t have a way to lock the trigger, got use to my other one that could
