Don’t like the blade on the right side. Cut good on 2×4 and also on plywood.

The drill is light, compact and works like a dream. I have larger Makita cordless drills that have been used a lot and I’m happy with. I got this sub-compact drill to work in tighter spaces. I also have Makita cordless saws and other tools. I’ve been pleased with performance and the durability of both tools and batteries.

Remodeling an old staple with full saw cut oak for studs and posts. Installing electrical and needed a drill to run electric wire for lights and fans. The oak wood didn’t phase the drill even with a 3/4″ wood bit. The 3hr volt amp battery lasted longer than I thought possible. The chuck is easy to adjust so using different bits is a snap. The tool has become my favorite using it for electrical, plumbing, and hanging dry wall.

Excellent little circular saw. The blade is very nice and I especially love the dust collection ability to where you can hook a vacuum to it to keep your garage or workshop sawdust free.

It was everything that was advertised

I haven’t put it to serious test at work yet, but at home it’s already proven itself… powerful for something so wonderfully compact, so far it seems to be a great value for the money. Safe to say size doesn’t always matter (-;

Excellent saw for DIY user. Light weight and easy to handle. It is quite. It is designed for a right handed user. I had a corded saw that was for a left handed user. It was difficult to keep level through out the cut for a right handed person. It also discharged the saw dust on to the user. After nine years I final decided to use a cordless and though the 6.5 inch would work for around the house use, Most of the cordless 6.5 circular saws are designed for left handed people and when I found this Makita I gave it a try. I have only had it for a few weeks of use but I am pleased with the saw. No dislikes so far. It meets all of my expectations (exceeds expectations on noise-for a saw it is quite).

Remember that the blade is in the box but it’s under the heavy cardboard I almost threw the box away thinking it did not come with a blade

This drill is lightweight and smooth. Purchased for above – head applications and light duty where hammer drill is overkill. high quality feel and seems durable. Perfect!

You have to know what youre buying before hand. No, it is not that powerful but perfect for certain applications, better than going through 2 or more 1/4” attachments a week due to snapping

Great price great product

Lightweight, easy to use. Drawback, do not use this drill for something that requires an impact drill (lag bolts, mechanical). This drill is for light duty, personal use. The clutches will break if used in commercial use.

Great drill and nice weight! I purchased it to replace a 2013 Makita 18v LXFD01 drill that has a bad gear box. Sadly the battery styles are slightly different, so I decided to repair the old drill by buying a 20$ replacement gear box and return the new drill.
