A replacement for another cordless vac. Initially used in a renovation that included plaster dust, used with floor attachment. Cloth filter clogs up fast, but cleans OK. Bulkier materials stay at bottom of vac housing, with a little rubber flap at bottom opening. Haven’t used it overhead, but, the filter body is about the size of a solo cup and shouldn’t clog too fast. Have bought more filters to keep cleaning up and not have to stop and clean filter, which is a must. Used again on painting job with just vac body to clean up paint scrapings from glass panels, and wood filler dust. I try to work clean. Very happy with it. Much better design and operation of other cordless vacs, works with batteries of the Makita tools I use.

This stick vac is fantastic. I bought a second one for upstairs. It runs for a very long time on a charge and works very well on hardwood floors. By far the best stock vac I have owned.

I like the way I can take these filters out of the vacuum and shake them out like a piece of cloth. I bought this Makita Model # XLC02ZW vac because originally had a Milwaukee M12 vac and the pleated filter was hard to clean without compressed air. I use this with the optional brush and use it for small cleanups like after repairing lighting fixtures and cutting in an outlet box. It’s not the big shop vac, but I also don’t have to lug that around either. Came with extension wand, crevice tool and floor attachment.
