Ordered online and delivered in 2 days just in time for a difficult and dirty job. Battery lasted much longer than expected and saw was very handy and smooth running. Only problem I had to buy a new battery charger as the old one I had for other tools did not meet the spec. for this new battery.

Its a good drill for making holes.

Great idea by Makita, by putting out a circular saw that has a base that makes it work as a track saw. It’s not a plunge saw, but if you don’t need the ability to do so, then it’s a cheaper alternative.
Sallie Bradtke (verified owner) –
Not too bad was kind of expensive and came with no battery
Maegan Schuppe (verified owner) –
Up graded from old 1500 rpm makita drills. Swear this drill saves 25 to 30 seconds per hole. Very comfortable and fast
Kaycee Jones (verified owner) –
The relatively light weight makes it nice for use on ladders, and its price point takes some of the edge off when wet weather takes its toll.

I own several Makita battery powered tools. I used the last drill so much, I wore it out!!!! I’m sure this one will last equally long!!

I’ve been using it to dismantle 1/16” stainless tubing with carbide blades and it just eats. Also used to to turn a geo metro into a convertible and the geo stood no chance. This saw was a great buy.

Amazingly powerful. I have several other top brand saws and this is now my saw of choice. The build quality is also top notch. Super smooth cuts and the auto power delivery is fascinating. It NEVER bogs down. Super smooth, and you can feel the quality just by picking it up. The rail feature is great for me, I have a corded track saw and after getting this saw, I have yet to grab my track saw. It’s not heavy, I thought it would be. With two batteries it still feels lighter than my Makita track saw. If you are considering this saw, go for it. You will not be disappointed. Makita knocked it out of the park.
