The Makita 18-Volt X2 LXT (36-Volt) Brushless 1-9/16 in. Advanced AVT Rotary Hammer with AWS is a cordless concrete solution thats loaded with advanced engineering for maximum efficiency. Its equipped with Auto-Start Wireless System (AWS) for wireless connectivity with an AWS-equipped dust extractor (sold separately), and features Advanced AVT for reduced vibration. Its powered by two 18-Volt LXT batteries and an efficient brushless motor for maximum power, speed and run-time for corded demands, without the cord. The XRH07PTU is engineered with Advanced Anti-Vibration Technology (AVT), a synchronized three-component system for significantly less vibration. AVT is more than just a padded handle. The three-component system includes an internal counterbalance that uses air pressure to move counterweight pistons in the opposite direction of the drive piston to actively reduce vibration. The result is a low vibration rating of only 5m/s, but with no compromise in performance: The efficient brushless motor delivers a full 8.4 ft./lbs. of impact energy, with 250-500 RPM and 1,450-2,900 BPM. For improved efficiency, its equipped with Auto-Start Wireless System technology. AWS utilizes Bluetooth technology for wireless communication between the tool and dust extractor (sold separately). When the trigger of the AWS-equipped XRH07PTU is engaged, the AWS-equipped dust extractor powers-up. When the trigger is released, the dust extractor powers-down.
- XRH07PTU – two 18-Volt LXT Lithium-Ion batteries deliver the power and run time for corded demands without leaving the 18-Volt LXT platform
- XRH07PTU – powerful BL brushless motor delivers 250-500 RPM, 1,450-2,900 BPM and 8.4 ft./lbs. of impact energy to handle the most demanding applications
- XRH07PTU – Auto-start Wireless System (AWS) utilizes Bluetooth technology for wireless power-on/off communication between tool and dust extractor
- XRH07PTU – dust extraction capability with optional Makita dust attachment kit
- XRH07PTU – torque limiting clutch engineered to prevent gear damage by automatically disengaging gears if the bit binds
- XRH07PTU – advanced Anti-Vibration Technology (AVT) is a synchronized, three-component system that actively works to reduces vibration resulting in a low 5 m/s2
- XRH07PTU – advanced AVT includes an air actuated counterbalance that utilizes air pressure to produce counterweight motion and effectively reduce vibration
- XRH07PTU – advanced AVT includes a vibration absorbing housing which moves independently of the motor and hammer mechanism effectively isolating vibration
- XRH07PTU – advanced AVT includes an integrated damper spring at the base of the impact bolt engineered to absorb impact vibrations from the drill bit
- XWT08Z – BL motor delivers 740 ft./lbs. of fastening torque and 1,180 ft./lbs. of breakaway torque
- XWT08Z – 3-speed power selection switch (0-900/ 0-1,000/ 0-1,800 RPM & 0-1,800/ 0-2,000/ 0-2,200 IPM) provides precise fastening control for a wide range of applications
- XWT08Z – 1/2 in. anvil with friction ring for quick and easy socket changes
- XWT08Z – efficient BL brushless motor is electronically controlled to optimize battery energy use for up to 50% longer run time per charge
- XWT08Z – BL brushless motor eliminates carbon brushes, enabling the BL Motor to run cooler and more efficiently for longer life
- XWT08Z – Electronically-controlled BL brushless motor efficiently uses energy to match torque and RPM to the changing demands of the application
- XWT08Z – compact and ergonomic design at only 9 in. L
- XWT08Z – weighs only 7.9 lbs. with battery (battery not included) for reduced operator fatigue
- XWT08Z – rubberized soft grip handle provides increased comfort on the job

This impact far exceeded my expectations. Can’t believe the breaking power it has. Just as good as a pneumatic impact without the hassle of hoses to pull around. Makita did it again with this beast
Royce Kuhn (verified owner) –
Best impact gun i ever used. Solid piece of equipment.

Great product

The handle came loose and felt like it was going to break so I returned it.other than that it had the torque and breaking power.
Charity Roob (verified owner) –
It had enough force to do everything I wanted it to
Karl Carter (verified owner) –
I never had a piece of equipment that performed this good. Thanks Makita

Very good tool, I’ve only hit one three-quarter inch bolt that it did not want to back out first try.
Derrick Price (verified owner) –
Tons of power. Breaks loose old rusted nuts and bolts with ease. The 3 speed modes are handy as well.
Jaqueline Kuhlman (verified owner) –
Very powerful drill a little bit heavy on one handed operation
Letitia Torphy (verified owner) –
Too heavy for me

Everything I was looking for
Shayne Hettinger (verified owner) –
It did the job it was needed for

Only got to take a couple wheels off with it before I got furloughed but allowed me to utilize existing Makita lxt charger and batteries I had. No more dragging air hoses, and can do whatever the snap on’s pnuematic and cordless guns do so far.

Bought to replace a pneumatic impact wrench. Performed very well on first use. A few things I noticed (admittedly picky) while using it to replace front wheel bearings: 1) Had plenty of torque to get the job done!2) The direction switch was easily moved by the side of my index fingers while using – Right index finger would move it out of counterclockwise while taking off nuts and bolts, Left index finger would move it out of clockwise. Annoying!3) It is much bigger and heavier than my pneumatic. It’s length required me to use a universal joint and wobble extensions to access the brake bracket bolts. (On the plus side, there was no hose to work around and I didn’t have to listen to the compressor running :-)4) It is top heavy and tips over easily when trying to stand it up on the battery (5.0Ah). It would not stand up with a u-joint and 30mm socket attached.5) The hanger/hook is huge and gets in the way of laying it down and picking up. I took it off. Why did Makita made it so big?6) Good overall – I’m glad I have it.

I used it when I rotated tires recently. It had no problems with 140ft pound lugnuts. You should probably use a 4 or 5ah battery. Great tool!
Polly O’Connell (verified owner) –
Excellent. Used it a few weeks ago to remove my summer tires and put on winter tires. Had as much power as air impact wrench. Changed 4 tires in 15 minutes. Battery compatible with my Drills.
Garnett Romaguera (verified owner) –
This impact drill is easy to work with.

i bought this as I frequently change tires for winter and this definitely saves time. It is extremely powerful and will snap off lug nuts if not used with care. Use torque sticks and make sure they are not cross threaded. I am pleased with this tool and the price was decent!!!!
