The Makita 18-Volt X2 LXT (36-Volt) Brushless 1-9/16 in. Advanced AVT Rotary Hammer with AWS is a cordless concrete solution thats loaded with advanced engineering for maximum efficiency. Its equipped with Auto-Start Wireless System (AWS) for wireless connectivity with an AWS-equipped dust extractor (sold separately), and features Advanced AVT for reduced vibration. Its powered by two 18-Volt LXT batteries and an efficient brushless motor for maximum power, speed and run-time for corded demands, without the cord. The XRH07PTU is engineered with Advanced Anti-Vibration Technology (AVT), a synchronized three-component system for significantly less vibration. AVT is more than just a padded handle. The three-component system includes an internal counterbalance that uses air pressure to move counterweight pistons in the opposite direction of the drive piston to actively reduce vibration. The result is a low vibration rating of only 5m/s, but with no compromise in performance: The efficient brushless motor delivers a full 8.4 ft./lbs. of impact energy, with 250-500 RPM and 1,450-2,900 BPM. For improved efficiency, its equipped with Auto-Start Wireless System technology. AWS utilizes Bluetooth technology for wireless communication between the tool and dust extractor (sold separately). When the trigger of the AWS-equipped XRH07PTU is engaged, the AWS-equipped dust extractor powers-up. When the trigger is released, the dust extractor powers-down.
- XRH07PTU – two 18-Volt LXT Lithium-Ion batteries deliver the power and run time for corded demands without leaving the 18-Volt LXT platform
- XRH07PTU – powerful BL brushless motor delivers 250-500 RPM, 1,450-2,900 BPM and 8.4 ft./lbs. of impact energy to handle the most demanding applications
- XRH07PTU – Auto-start Wireless System (AWS) utilizes Bluetooth technology for wireless power-on/off communication between tool and dust extractor
- XRH07PTU – dust extraction capability with optional Makita dust attachment kit
- XRH07PTU – torque limiting clutch engineered to prevent gear damage by automatically disengaging gears if the bit binds
- XRH07PTU – advanced Anti-Vibration Technology (AVT) is a synchronized, three-component system that actively works to reduces vibration resulting in a low 5 m/s2
- XRH07PTU – advanced AVT includes an air actuated counterbalance that utilizes air pressure to produce counterweight motion and effectively reduce vibration
- XRH07PTU – advanced AVT includes a vibration absorbing housing which moves independently of the motor and hammer mechanism effectively isolating vibration
- XRH07PTU – advanced AVT includes an integrated damper spring at the base of the impact bolt engineered to absorb impact vibrations from the drill bit
- XWT08Z – BL motor delivers 740 ft./lbs. of fastening torque and 1,180 ft./lbs. of breakaway torque
- XWT08Z – 3-speed power selection switch (0-900/ 0-1,000/ 0-1,800 RPM & 0-1,800/ 0-2,000/ 0-2,200 IPM) provides precise fastening control for a wide range of applications
- XWT08Z – 1/2 in. anvil with friction ring for quick and easy socket changes
- XWT08Z – efficient BL brushless motor is electronically controlled to optimize battery energy use for up to 50% longer run time per charge
- XWT08Z – BL brushless motor eliminates carbon brushes, enabling the BL Motor to run cooler and more efficiently for longer life
- XWT08Z – Electronically-controlled BL brushless motor efficiently uses energy to match torque and RPM to the changing demands of the application
- XWT08Z – compact and ergonomic design at only 9 in. L
- XWT08Z – weighs only 7.9 lbs. with battery (battery not included) for reduced operator fatigue
- XWT08Z – rubberized soft grip handle provides increased comfort on the job

The drill was ready to use and works better than any other I’ve had before.

I needed an impact wrench to remove a bolt from the harmonic balancer pulley on my Toyota Camry. I have other Mikita products which I purchased with no regrets. The price of this unit scared me at first, but then You get what you pay for. I considered other brands such as the Rigid, which produces 450 ft/lbs, but when I read the specs on this unit, I had to have it.I bought a 19mm impact deep socket for it and It spun that frozen bolt off as if it were held on with bubble gum. I could not get that bolt free by any other means. This wrench is very hefty. I was surprised how heavy it was when I held it.There are rubber bumpers all around the outside to keep it from getting scratched up when you set it down.I purchased a combination charger and battery for it, since the wrench was offered as a ‘tool only’ purchase.I am sorry I did not purchase one of these long ago, but extremely pleased that I have it in my arsenal of tools now.

This cordless impact wrench is a beast. The variable speed trigger coupled to the adjustable low, med, high is a nice combo. We primarily drive ⅝” and ¾” shank anchors into concrete with this tool. The tool is as compact and probably weighs around 8lbs with the battery. Would buy again.

I have 3 of these and they work great.

This is my 2nd one, I would have rated it higher, except it only lasted about a year. I do use it hard , (everyday auto repair shop) It is a little lite on power compared to others on the market however the cost is also about 1/2 of others. The main selling feature is Makita battery system, You make your choice on the brand of tool your going to use and for better or worse you end up married to it. I cant think of any Makita 18 V tools I don’t own

This thing is awesome, I have used it a few times now. Needed to bust loose a few motor mount bolts that have been in place for 18yrs and the makita had no problem, even with a 3′ extension attached!

Use this in the oilfield, couldn’t ask for a better impact!

I mostly bought this tool to break lug nuts loose that have over tightened by tire stores. I recently had my tires rotated, then attempted to remove the wheels to do a break job. Even with a breaker bar, they would not budge. This tool had no problem getting them off. I cannot comment on battery life yet because I haven’t used the tool enough. I will say that I like this tool so much that I bought the 3/8″ impact wrench yesterday for use on routine engine work.

Great tool, plenty of torque and cordless convenient. Just make sure you have one of the larger batteries to power it.

This thing is a monster. It’ll break the devil lose from home. If you do any kind of knuck busting then you need one of these. I don’t do that much but, when I do I grab this and that’s it.

A bit heavy but it’s worth the extra weight for the torque it has

This drill works awesome

The 1/2 in high torque impact wrench is the best that I have ever used. It was easy to use, and medium weight for the amount of torque it delivers. I am amazed at the power.
Marlen Larkin (verified owner) –
This impact has a lot of torque and works great. The only down side is the size and weight. It is a heavy impact and hopefully that means it will last. I do have concerns about the battery mounting block. The one I purchased seems to be loose and I dont see an easy way to tighten it.I have only used it a hand full of times so far.

Works great. Definitely worth the price. Never will use a wrench to take off my lug nuts again this tool saves so much time.
