Couldn’t recommend the 5.0 Ah batteries more. Although they are heavier- suck it up, it builds muscle ;). I love that I can count on the quick charge time and how long each battery lasts. Depending what tool, I can go 2-4 hours on one battery using constantly. I now have three of them and watch for deals. I couldn’t be happier.

I’ve been using it to dismantle 1/16” stainless tubing with carbide blades and it just eats. Also used to to turn a geo metro into a convertible and the geo stood no chance. This saw was a great buy.

Used this for heavy demolition, cutting through 6×6 pressure treated wood, pruning trees, and cutting through metal pipes with no issues. It’s light, very smooth motor, and very little vibration. Switching out blades is super easy and I really like the rafter hook which stays in place securely when folded down and doesn’t get in the way. I never had a cordless reciprocating saw so I can’t compare battery life to other brands, but other than the heavy demo where it was worked VERY hard for a solid 30 minutes, my 4Ah batter never ran dry. I should note that the battery had 3 out of 4 bars on when I began the heavy demo.
