The XRJ07R1B is a sub-compact solution for cutting and demolition applications in tight spaces. The Sub-Compact Recipro Saw has a compact and ergonomic design at only 12-1/2 in. and 5.7 lbs. (with 18-Volt LXT Compact 2.0 Ah battery, battery and charger sold separately). I’d been looking at this tool for a while. I’ve got the bigger single battery version and have loved that for a couple years. I watched the video on AvE where he tore this down. The tool even impressed him! When you need a reciprocating saw for this tight spaces, this is your tool. If you were to only buy one for those occasional jobs, this would suffice for sure. Just buy it already…

I needed lightweight and compact tools for doing quick fixes on site. This saw addressed exactly that. Stroke is a bit short so I wouldn’t recommend it it for a full day of demolition, however that being said it is up to the task.
