The 18-Volt LXT Lithium-Ion Bluetooth Job Site Radio (model XRM06B) delivers rich sound and increased compatibility in a more compact size. It is a perfect addition to the workshop or job site. It’s part of Makita’s expanding 18-Volt lithium-ion system, the world’s largest cordless tool system powered by 18-Volt lithium-ion slide-style batteries. Makita 18-Volt lithium-ion batteries have the fastest charge times in their categories, so they spend more time working and less time sitting on the charger. The XRM06B delivers great sound in a compact size and is equipped with bluetooth to wirelessly connect your mobile device to play music. It has 1-auxiliary port for MP3 compatibility and delivers rich stereo sound from 2-powerful 3 in side-firing speakers. The XRM06B is engineered to stand up against harsh job site conditions with protective bumpers and features dust and water resistant construction for increased durability. The radio can be powered by Makita 7.2-Volt, 12-Volt MAX, 12-Volt MAX CXT, 14.4-Volt and 18-Volt LXT Lithium-Ion batteries (all sold separately).

Excellent sound quality and sturdy construction. A little heavy but quite portable. Excellent reception for radio stations and like having presets for stations. Disappointed that there isn’t an option to buy a bundled package with a battery and that the power cord doesn’t fit for storage within the unit (it is barely too big!)

It has a nice smooth sound with some decent bass and highs…Its not as loud as some radios but I enjoy the quality much better…I work at The Home Depot and use it at night and it has been very enjoyable. The batteries last longer than most radios and it has a nice stereo sound…
