The speaker is better then I thought it would be. Any one wanting to have music while you are working, and you can charge your phone or iPad also. Uses battery or there is a plug for power provided.

I have two of these and I love them!

Good but not as loud as I was expecting. Crisp and clear sound though. (by the way in the photo I uploaded I painted the letters gold, it doesnt come like that!)

This speaker is well-constructed and tough. I thought the woofer would create more bass, but I am overall satisfied.

Gives you plenty of music options at work in a rugged compact package. Yes it will charge your phone from either AC power or battery. Like it a lot

It’s a Makita so it’s tough. It has pretty good sound quality and pairs up easily with any phone.

I’m a die hard Makita user, so this was a no brainer for jobsite music. The sound quality is good for a speaker this size, and the bluetooth pairing is quick and reliable. The range of the bluetooth on this speaker is the disappointing part. I find myself leaving my phone sitting on top of the speaker because the music cuts out if you get more than 15 ft away. This kinda defeats the purpose of wireless connectivity. Improve the bluetooth capability and this would be a five star review.

This radio is compact and really has great sound. The Bluetooth is easy to hook up to and the power cord makes it nice instead of only being able to use batteries. Very versatile and can go anywhere. Our first use was for Christmas dinner and everyone loved the sound!

Rock solid BlueTooth speaker. Connects and stays connected. Exceptional bass. Uses my standard 18 V Makita batteries, seems to last for two full “work days”. The internal compartment will hold a iPhone 7/8 in an Otterbox, unfortunately not my Tab Notepad, but that fits between the handle easily. My 16 year old kept stealing it as his $10 to $30 bluetooth speakers sounded and behaved poorly. He finally spent $99 at Home Depot for one and loves his, as well. You could jack in a 1/8″ MP3 source or/and use 110 VAC or the included power supply, but why? This product is just one of many Makita’s that I own and use several times weekly, so I confidently recommend it to anyone who enjoys music away from their living room.
