Looks to be well made. Easy to assemble. They could make replacing the line to a twist type “Would be simpler and faster”.

This electric weed eater runs like & almost sounds like a gas motor, except quieter. It has a lot of torque and if you have enough batteries, it will go as far as you need!

Love it, battery life is great, easy to bump, not heavy, I used to have dewalt but I think this one is way much better and I like it more

First and foremost, get the right line for the job. The best use for this twisted line.080″ is light grass. It can handle small grassy weeds as well. If you try heavy weeds the line will break more. This .080″ is generally used in cordless trimmers. You can use this in a gas weed trimmer and any trimmer that is rated to use a larger line. I have a trimmer with a straight and curved shaft. One I have loaded with this .080″ line and the other with .095″ line for the heavier jobs.

Lightweight and easy to maneuver. A great improvement over my gas powered trimmer. Just right for my small city property.

I’ve used a few different models of string trimmers in the past with many different brands of string. The gold standard for a string’s quality, for me, is how much trimming you can get done before the string breaks off and has to be advanced. This Makita trimmer line is right up there among the best of those I’ve tried/used.It’s packaged well and easy to dispense without un-winding more than you need.

I used this trimmer line with my Ryobi gas trimmer and had no issues loading the 10 point star line into the spool. I tend to go through a great deal of trimmer line, and at least up to this point, it does not seem like I am going through any more than I normally do. I was very happy with the way the trimmer line cut my curb line. I guess the only complaint I have, and this really is not a complaint, is that you need to use a pair of scissors to cut the line; it is nice when a line cutter is included with the trimmer line. Again, this is just being picky and not a big deal especially if the trimmer line continues to last longer than other lines I have used in the past.

This string trimmer line is extremely flexible. It is also softer but seems to work better than standard line. See picture to see how much more flexible it is compared to harder line, it bends a lot more. This seems to cause it to wear thinner instead of breaking off. When I used as edger and took picture you can see how the end is thinner than the part that has not been used. also the many ridges seem to cut and dig better. Very happy with it

Exactly as I expected. Have to replace trimmer line often but believe that is my own learning curve since I’ve never used this type of equipment before.

Makita 0.080 in.x 175 ft is very economist way of using, spc if usage is less, since I bought my Makita trimmer, I havent change yet, easy to replaced. I like it, would recommend to friends & family.

Nice trimmer. Love the no gas to mix and use. Buy extra batteries for it though…..atleast two additional 4ah batteries are needed to trim the average size lawn.
