The Makita 18-Volt LXT Lithium-Ion Cordless 4 ft. Concrete Vibrator (model XRV01Z, tool only) delivers more run time with maximum vibrations per minute (VPM) for strengthening concrete when running a corded tool is not an option. The XRV01Z is powered by an 18-Volt LXT Lithium-Ion battery (sold separately) with the fastest charge time in its class, so the battery spends more time working and less time sitting on the charger. The XRV01Z features a Makita built motor that delivers 13,000 VPM with up to 25 minute run time under load and a 4 ft. shaft (1 in. thick) for more effective leveling and removal of air bubbles in concrete. It weighs only 7.7 lbs. with high vibration and ergonomic features for top performance, with an ergonomic dual directional switch allows adjustment to either horizontal or vertical positions for more user comfort. The XRV01Z’s long run time, high vibration and ergonomic features are a perfect fit for concrete pros requiring a best-in-class vibrator for leveling and removing air bubbles in concrete and running a corded tool is not an option.

I found the power of this unit is very good despite some reviews. Really worked well to vibrate concrete into the forms.The battery cover can be difficult to open but protects the battery well.The switch design is great for various positions you may be in while using tool.The 5 ah battery lasted long for me.Expect great quality from Makita and this was met.

used the old model that only accepted 3.0 batteries for a long time. Was a little hesitant to trust it on a foundation for fear of voids under vents. but on 6 and 5 slump it worked great. the new model excepts 4 and 5 ah batteries last a long time. Two 4 ah batteries on a 68’x28’x4′ foundation
