The 18-Volt LXT Lithium-Ion Cordless Drywall Screwdriver (model XSF03Z, tool only, batteries and charger sold separately) breaks new ground for drywall contractors. It’s powered by a Makita brushless motor for longer run time, increased power and speed and longer tool life. With the exclusive Push Drive Technology, the 18-Volt Drywall Screwdriver can be set on lock-on mode so the motor starts only when the fastener is engaged. This gives contractors a quieter work environment and also saves on battery power. It’s built for added durability with Extreme Protection Technology (XPT), which is engineered for improved dust and water resistance for operation in harsh job site conditions. It is ideal for hanging sheetrock, metal framing, installing subfloors, backer board and decking applications. It’s part of Makita’s expanding 18-Volt Lithium-Ion series, the world’s largest cordless tool line-up powered by 18-Volt Lithium-Ion slide-style battery. Makita 18-Volt Lithium-Ion batteries have the fastest charge times in their categories, so they spend more time working and less time sitting on the charger. Was using standard drill to install drywall, slow and hard to control screw depth. The Makita cordless drywall screwgun made installing drywall a breeze, less stressful much faster.

Be careful when squeezing the trigger as the bottom of the trigger has a gap that will pinch your third finger

Fantastic cordless mini vacuum with all the power! This is an amazing little machine and I love the cordless feature. Makes cleaning out the truck a breeze. It comes with a crevice attachment and one for wider areas like seats. It is light weight enough to be very portable with one hand while cleaning up and comes with a nice comfortable handle (shoulder strap is sold separately). There is a great batterie indicator on the out side. The battery lasts a very long time too. Lots of power !That it is wet dry is an added bonus! It is also surprisingly quiet.

I’ve been doing sheeteock work for decades. (Not full time, but ive done it a lot!) in the old days, we used hammer and nails. Then we upgraded to screws with a corless or corded drill. Then we went to impact drivers and then to the sheetrock screw gun with clutch. With each progression there was a marked improvement in time saving. But nothing compares to the ease and speed of this drywall screw gun with clutch. Everytime i use it im as giddy as a school girl. Haha. This is the only way to go for any professional who installs sheetrock.

Extremely good quality, as you would expect from Makita.Good suction, especially for a portable vacuum powered by and 18 volt battery.Excellent design for on board tools and the hose is very well made.I am only giving this 4 stars because Makita does not provide the shoulder strap with this vacuum. It has to be purchased separately. Really? You could not include a $5 strap?Come on Makita, this is a bad move and says the bean counters are too involved in the sales and marketing.

We needed the occasional dust collector for our battery powered circular saw and similar power tools as well as a portable (battery) vacuum for light car duty. When you have an SUV and teenagers, you are always cleaning. So this unit looked to fit the bill for both duties. You can see in the linked video below, using the vacuum on high power on the carpet in our SUV, yielded so-so results. It does have a good vacuum, but really needs to include a brush attachment for carpet work. It works VERY well as a dust collector for our power tools and the HEPA filtration is very nice. It cuts the dust way down. So dinged the unit one star for lack of carpet attachment (and when we stole one from another vacuum in the house it work very well). Overall very happy with the unit and since it uses the same batteries with our other makita products, we always have a spare battery around. The batteries do last a long time with this unit, so I would guess it has a quite efficient motor.

I ordered the Makita 18V Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless Portable Wet/Dry HEPA Filter Vacuum somewhat on a whim but mostly out of necessity. So far its been pretty good. Its about 15″ long by 12″ high by 9″ wide, and has two suction power settings. The handle is well located for balance, large and comfortable for carrying and folds out of the way when not needed. It comes with a crevasse tool and a 4″ wide upholstery type suction nozzle and a self storing built in hose that extends to better than 5′. It has vacuumed up everything I’ve thrown at it during a kitchen remodel with the cordless feature making it very easy to grab it, use it and get it out of the way. Its beefy construction will most likely stand up to the rigors of my moderate use and abuse for years. After a couple of weeks of daily use here are my observations: It should but does not come with a shoulder strap – the handle is great but frequently I need a free hand to efficiently vacuum the nooks, crannies and tight areas. Mine came with a 4.0 amp battery that is good for 20 to 25 minutes of intermittent use at the lower suction setting before becoming too weak to use effectively. Also I find that the lower setting is quite sufficient for most cleaning situations using the crevasse tool. I used the 4″ suction attachment nozzle set at the higher setting for cleaning the seats and carpet in my car and felt it didn’t do quite as nice a job as the powered vacuum I use for that task. Also it noticeably lost power after only 10 minutes. The battery charges fully in about a half hour. It is very easy and not too messy to empty. Lastly I discovered (surprisingly so) that the free end of the hose does not fit onto my Makita Orbital Sander – whats up with that? I like this vacuum but at the very least it should mate with the dust attachment fittings with other Makita tools.

I shopped these type of vacs very hard putting the highest priority on CFM . This unit is the highest in its class. So I didn’t care if was $20 or $30 bucks more. I am very pleased with my decision plus it is very easy to put to use with the layout of the the tools. I hated pulling that cord out and rounding up parts. Now we m cleaning up in seconds. Well worth it.
