Makita is a pioneer in brushless motor engineering, battery technology and miter saw innovation. This combined expertise resulted in the 18-Volt X2 LXT (36-Volt) Lithium-Ion Brushless 12 in. Dual Bevel Sliding Compound Miter Saw Kit with Laser (XSL07PT). It’s powered by two 18-Volt Lithium-Ion batteries for 36-Volt power and performance, but without leaving the 18-Volt LXT platform. X2 LXT technology delivers increased power, speed and run time, without the hassles of a cord. Get up to 175 cuts per charge in 2×12 SPF lumber with two 5.0 Ah batteries. The efficient BL Brushless Motor runs cooler and more efficiently for longer tool life and delivers up to 4,400 RPM for fast and smoother cutting. The XSL07PT also features Automatic Speed Change technology to adjust cutting speed and torque under load for optimum performance. The XSL07PT has a unique 2-steel rail sliding system design that offers single slide-glide operation for smooth and dead-on accurate cutting right out of the box, as well as a reduced overall footprint that allows the saw to be positioned flush against a wall. This Promotion also comes with a bonus AF506 2 in. Brad Nailer, 18 Gauge and AF601 16 Gauge, 2-1/2 in. Straight Finish Nailer.

It works most of the time, but sometimes fires inconsistent not driving the nail all the way, or jamming.

The Makita Pneumatic 16-Gauge, 2-1/2 in. Straight Finish Nailer is a robust air nailer. It is comfortable and easy to use. It will drive 16 gauge finishing nails from 1 inch to 2-1/2 inch. It has tool-less depth adjustment and tool-less easy to clear nose piece. It has a selector switch so the user can switch between “single sequential actuation” or “contact actuation mode”. The nailer is 12″ long and weighs only 3.8 lbs. Great tool.

Easily manageable nail gun, comfortable grip. Lighter than my last nailer – which broke apart after over 25 years of service, RIP. Loads easily (I think most of the newer 16g finish nailers load similarly) at times shorter clips of nails have to be jiggled down into magazine a bit – no big deal. Just did a bunch of interior door and window trim, no mis-fires. Tip does not mar wood trim (also comes with spare tip in case that one wears down eventually). Has a dust-clearing feature, valve at bottom of handle releases air towards the magazine – have not tried this feature (and might never). Easy depth adjustment knob, works well. I use this for more precision interior trim, will not likely use the multi-fire trigger position either – but this feature is available for more production style work. Sinks nails nicely, no firing pin dents next to the nails – which was a feature of my last nailer. Jam release works easily, but as stated above no mis-fires at all so far with a couple full clips of different length nails. Does require oil, small bottle provided to get you started. Hard case included, also extra pair of safety glasses and hanging/ belt clip. Does what it’s supposed to do.

I just love this finish nailer it has a very nice blue and silver finish on the body of the nailer with a black magazine and black comfort grip with a pair of safety glasses and small bottle of air tool oil has a rubber nose adapter with one extra nose adapter so as not to damage what you are nailing the magazine will hold 100 nails sized from 1 inch up to 2 and 1/2 inch nails comes with a m style air hose connector male and it only weighs 3.8 lbs do not forget to use your safety glasses safety first save an eye
