The impact is excellent. Easy to use and plenty of torque. Great tool.

I bought this impact for the convenience of not having to drag a cord or hose around. It works as advertised so far. I’ve used it on the lowest setting and haven’t had any problems with lugnuts or seized bolts. The battery seems to hold up longer than the older ones as well. Very satisfied so far.

Works perfectly with my Makita impact driver. Power and strength to remove rusted on lugnuts.

So far I am very happy with this impact gun the battery lasts pretty long and it has more than enough power tightening and loosening lug nuts. I’ve checked torque a few times after tightening and they are always good. I have not found a lug that it hasn’t loosened yet even a rusty old van.

Very good tool. Beats lugging the air hose around. Plus can take along on trips to the stockyard in case of blowouts.

They are so solid socket set and the carrying case is also solid for easy use. This is a great product.

I got this Impact, after being disappointed in the XWT11T kit I had purchased to work on my car. All I can say is that this thing will remove any bolt that you could possibly think of on your car. I’ve removed axel bolts, balance bolts, spring perch and rear end u-bolts. I never had to put it onto level 3 once.It is quite a bit heavier than the smaller model, and you’ll have to use impact socket extensions to get into a lot of the spaces you need to use it on a vehicle, but it’s performance is flawless.I can’t recommend this model enough. Perfect for junkyarding or hot rodding. This is the impact to buy, if you’re looking for a High Torque option that isn’t air powered!!

This Makita 1/2″ impact is amazing. Removes lug nuts off my Dodge 2500 with ease. No more messing with air hoses and and a pneumatic impact. I really like the Makita 18v tool line-up. I switched all my cordless tools from DeWalt 20v to Makita with no regrets.

works great! batteries charge fast. quiet impacts. have always been told that makita cordless tools last the longest, so we shall put it to the test and see. one down side (getting use to) is the direction button is very easy to switch accidentally when i go to grab the trigger. not a deal breaker, though. enjoy.

I see no need to turn on my compressor anymore. This could very well be the end of pneumatic tools.

Makita is a great and reliable professional brand. No matter what Makita tool I buy it always ends up exceeding my expectations, and this impact driver is no exception. It actually replaced a Matco Tools impact driver, as I’m converting all my electric cordless tools over to Makita, and it blows my old Matco impact outta the water. I love the power adjustment feature too because you don’t always want that much torque on somethings and want more on others. I do recommend getting the 5.0 mAh batteries to get the full power from the tool. The only downside to that huge powerful brushless motor is the weight, so if you don’t need anywhere near the torque this thing can put out you should get the 3/8″ instead of the 1/2″. In conclusion, I would take a Makita over a Dewalt or whatever else any day.

Love the tool. Exceeds my expectations. Delivery time was crazy quick! Maybe I’ll never have to go into my local Home Depot again! That would be good because the customer service there sucks!

Works great and is much less bulky then the other manufacturers models

Got it for my husband for his birthday. He was working on a skid steer at the time and it really helped get the job done. Very powerful and there’s different torque settings on it like an air operated one. I’ve been looking at them for 5 months I’m very impressed and happy with this one!
