The Makita 18-Volt LXT Brushless 3-Speed Impact Wrench (XWT11Z) combines extended run time and speed control for unmatched fastening performance. The XWT11Z is powered by a Makita brushless motor for longer run time, increased power and speed, and longer tool life. 3 speeds with reverse rotation auto-stop mode stops rotation in 2-seconds when fastener is adequately loosened, making the XWT11Z ideal for automotive, installation, and fabrication trades. Its part of Makita’s expanding 18-Volt LXT system, the worlds largest cordless tool system powered by 18-Volt lithium-ion batteries. Makita 18-Volt LXT Batteries have the fastest charge times in their categories, so they spend more time working and less time sitting on the charger. 18-Volt LXT batteries are included in this kit. For improved tool performance and extended battery life, Makita created Star Protection Computer Controls. Star Protection is communication technology that allows the Star Protection-equipped tool and battery to exchange data in real time and monitor conditions during use to protect against overloading, over-discharging and overheating. For increased versatility, the tool can also be powered by Makita 18-Volt LXT and Compact Lithium-Ion Batteries with the star symbol on the battery indicating Star Protection inside. This Promotion also comes with a bonus DML815 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Cordless L.E.D. Flashlight, Flashlight Only.

I’m a big fan of Makita cordless tools. I recently bought this impact which now makes it my 3rd Makita impact wrench bought in the last 13 months. I only tested it on lug nut removal and re-tightening on my SUV and it passed that test. I’ll be using it for future automotive work. Something that bothers me though. The direction selector switch behind the trigger has a lot of play in it, much more than my other Makita impact wrenches, drivers, and drills. I tried 2 of them and they both had what I consider excessive play and looseness in the switch so I suppose it’s normal for this model but below par compared to my other Makita tools. I hope Makita isn’t cutting corners and cheapening up their tools to cut costs and hopefully it won’t lead to future problems. My concerns are reflected in my ratings and I still intend to buy other Makita tools in the future.

Dose everything and more of what I expected the only thing I will add is bigger batteries with longer run time.

Great quality as expected from Makita.

Would recommend getting at least a 3Ah battery because the 2Ah doesn’t last very long. Also the light on the impact is kinda weak and doesn’t illuminate much. The charger provided is NOT a rapid charger and also does not have a fan that cools the batteries when they are being charged.

This is my first cordless impact wrench. I have used the corded and pneumatic ones before this. Right away this weighs a lot less than both of those styles and the size is more compact. However, the small size is not a reflection of its performance at all. It is quite powerful. It had no problem removing the lug nuts on my car. If you haven’t used one of these before I would recommend only using it with appropriate impact sockets. If you don’t already have some, they aren’t too expensive. I am happy with this product.

Very good low-to mid torque wrench. I bought primarily for lug nuts on my 1500 truck. Works very well and very light

Never have purchased a Makita tool that disappointed me. This is no exception. First job was to remove some thoroughly rusted nuts/bolts from a half ton pickup spring. The compact design allowed me to reach every fastener and remove them quickly. Six stars!!

High quality and ergonomic design. The charger does not have a fan on it or any auditory cue that the charge is complete. A light indicates charge is done. It was capable of removing lug nuts from truck wheel. The impact wrench is light weight and little, making it comfortable to use. It meets all the specifications in the manual and with Makita name I believe it will last a long time. It comes with a carrying case.

Like all Mikita power tools, this is top of the line. This kit comes with all you need, including the 18 volt lithium-ion battery. Also included is the charger for the battery and a convenient carry-storage pouch. The impact drive has an LED light that brightens up your work area. One of the biggest pluses to this kit is that it uses the same battery as my cordless saw, so I now have three batteries ready to tackle any job. The impact driver has three speeds which will come in handy for those small as well as tough jobs. Very powerful, I like it better than my current Ryobi 18 volt impact driver. Great quality, well built and I would expect this to last for many years.

Seems to work as all my other Makita tools perfectly. My only complaint has always been the batteries seem to just quit when they quit.

The tool is compacted and very powerful. I was really impressed by the power and torque it put out.

Great Makita quality. Enough power to remove lugnuts on my Titan pickup truck if they are not over torqued to start with. I’m very happy with product and price
