Convenient, light, easy to use keeping in balance with the compact drills. Problem is that one of two batteries in my drill/driver kit failed after a session of moderate use and maybe one year old. Warranty? Procedure dictated to send back to Makita Services the complete drill and impact driver kit to warranty the one battery. Not happening. Replacement 2.0A battery cost $89.95 + tax. Pretty absurd when the whole kit, 2 drills, 2 batteries and charger cost $200. There has to be a better way.

It was the battery I needed for my sweeper. Even though the number had changed it works perfectly.

My battery that came with the battery went bad after two years. It does get heavy use so not sure.

I’m a petite female homeowner who is sooo relieved with how wonderful this light, cute, little, and powerful Makita set works. It makes my projects go so much easier and with less exhaustion in my arms. 🙂 I just needed a really good tool. Also, I received an extra free battery which was a plus (a total of 3!). Curbside pickup went smooth and quick. A great item and service. Thanks.

Excellent battery for my new compact (Black series) 18V drill driver. The older 18V batteries are not compatible with the compact series so I had to purchase. These batteries work with older 18V series tools, but not vice versa.

Great name brand drill to have. I replaced the Makita I had for more than a decade just because the battery was outdated.

I have tried off brand replacements and was not satisfied with their reliability. I like the size and weight of this battery. Makes handling the attachments a little easier than Makita’s higher output battery.
