This has been a great addition to the tools in my little shop. I use it mostly for knocking out wheel bearing races. It does a great job without harming the surrounding areas whereas a steel rod can cause some serious damage if you are not extremely careful. I really like the knurled section at the top of the punch. This gives you a much better grip when your hands are greasy.

This is a substantial piece of brass that is made to tight tolerance and very well finished. This drift punch measures 3/4 inch by 12 inches and weighs 1.615 pounds,. At one end are two raised patterns, with a flat spot in between where Made in the USA and company markings are stamped, to help hold the punch steady with a sweaty hand as you hammer it. This is a nice tool.
