Who could not use a jimmy bar around the garage. I find that the 3/4 x 25 inch jimmy bar comes in very handy for a number of different projects around the house for working on my car to repairs in my home. It is a great size and weight and seems to be very strong. I do not have anything negative to say about this product and would definitely recommend it.

I have been needing one of these for a very long time. I mostly use it for lining up big bolt holes in heavy metal parts. The quality seems pretty good, but a bit pricey. I would recommend it to co-workers, but as a set. I would like to see a set available to buy in multiple sizes that range from a small 10 inch to a 36 inch. These work much better than screwdrivers.

Until owing an alignment/pry bar, you will never know how useful and helpful they can be. This 24-inch “round” Jimmy Bar is the best size for most light car and truck maintenance and repair. Round bars are also the most comfortable to hold and work with over hexagonal or square bars. And you won’t find better made bar than Mayhew makes (USA made, professional grade, Lifetime Warranty). Aside from aligning parts (never stick a finger in a hole to check fit or alignment) use a tool only, these bars work great for tire work too, better than tire spoons that can break or bend. They also work better than low cost wrecking bars often made of lower quality iron for home remodeling projects. I have learned when updating or doing remodeling projects, these bars provide better control and cause less damage when salvaging cabinets or protecting the existing structure. A plated bar is easier to keep clean and is more corrosion/rust resistant. Home Depot also sells Mayhew’s 30-inch Jimmy Bar, which is more suitable for farm, truck, and tractor repairs.
