When punching out pins in a pistol, you want to start with a “smaller than hole size” punch. This way you don’t end up expanding the hole over time. This set allows you to do exactly that and is cheaper than the factory punches that is made by Glock. Also is cheaper than the single punch they sell. I can not speak of durability as I have not used them to any great extent but seems to be made very well. Would recommend.

Good for seating finishing nails but will bend when trying to remove solid pins holding metal parts together.

I needed a couple of different sized pin punches to compliment my existing set. I use these to drive out roll pins where a soft brass set isn’t called for.

This was a perfect fit for the job I had at hand. The only reason for 4 rather than 5 stars was that the punches, even the largest one failed after repeated hammer blows. In the product’s defense, I was trying to get the pin out of a pallet jack axle that had been in place since the Eisenhower administration.

Read complaints about small diameter punches. I had no problems with them. You can’t expect to smash them or hit them on an angle if you do not want them to bend.

The tool worked just right. I tried using a nail a few years ago. I talked to my handyman and he suggested a 3 set pin punch. It took about 10 minutes to get the bottom pin out of my front door. Thanks Bob the builder.
