Nice set of punches. Made in the USA which is nice. I have only used one of the punches a handful of times and it has worked well. No issues putting marks in mild steel. Made drilling a hole in the right location much easier. No wondering of the drill bit.

I bought these 3 Mayhew punches fo use as both a punch and as an alignment tool. I have a set of pins with the flat ends, but sometimes you just need the point on these to get the parts to align right before the bolt will go in! The package says for metal, but I’ve used them for punching wood, plastic, fiberglass and leather. They are well made in the USA and are very reasonably priced, so…why buy some el-cheapo tool place version of this, when you can get these real tools that will last at HD for under $15?
