I was looking for an indoor grill. I tried a few, this one was the winner! I love the idea that I can grill inside my home! What’s even better is that it’s also a griddle on the other side. So easy to use and take apart for washing. I set it to 450 until its searing, which takes about 5 minutes. Then I turn down the heat and continue to cook. So far I have cooked steak, pork chops, and chicken. The food comes out soooo good, so juicy and so much flavor. Cleaning is so easy! I wipe the grill with a paper towel, then wash with soap and water.This grill is perfect for my household. Lots of room on both sides. It has the space for 2 or 3 good size steaks, or 6 hamburgers at a time. I think what I love best of all, is that I have two appliances in one. I can flip it over and cook pancakes, eggs, bacon on the griddle.The lid is great. You can leave it up, or cook with it down. I like cooking with it down, my food comes out juicer. Easy to clean, doesn’t splatter all over your kitchen when cooking food, and food tastes so delicious.

I used the grill and found it worked well and had easy to understand instructions. The first time I used it, I had trouble with the removable lid. After I cleaned the unit, I reread the instructions and worked with the lid. It worked perfectly. If I had to say something adverse about the product, it is larger than expected, but that also means it has a larger grill surface. I would definitely recommend this product.

I love this product! It is exactly what I was looking for. If I had to find anything negative it’s that it has a large footprint on the counter. Make sure you have space for it! Great product tho and very easy to clean.

I purchased this indoor grill because I do not have an outdoor grill any longer. It makes great hamburgers..grill marks and tastes like an outdoor grill. I put a little water in the pan and the smoke is minimal!! I have grilled shrimp…amazing!! With the griddle option…you an make pancakes!!! Which I have done. Very pleased and would recommend this MegaChef indoor grill to anyone. BTW…cleanup is a breeze!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I looked at several indoor electric grills before making this purchase, especially at some of the major “better known” brands. I could not be happier with my purchase and I plan on buying more products from Mega-Chef. This grill is sleek looking, made with quality parts, and it works effortlessly. It heats up super-quick and it maintains that heat. The surface area is enough for 6-7 good size burgers and you could easily cook a meal for a family on this thing in less than 45 min. The reversible grill plate is heavy gauge, durable, and solid. The non-stick coating is fantastic; all I did was run it underwater after cooking and the food particles literally just drained off (still have to clean it of course). It’s also important to have a lid to protect against grease or other type of platter and this glass lid does the job. The heating element works perfectly and I love the fact that the dial has temperatures on it and an indicator light to tell you when it’s on. Lastly, you’ll need a good size drain pan for larger meals and this grill has it where others don’t.It’s not a “panini maker” and a multi-function machine…it’s a reversible grill that does exactly what it says it will do and you cannot go wrong with this.
