We’ve had our Megachef electric burners for two years now and had zero problems until this morning. We’re camping Hillsborough River State Park and it’s been raining a lot! So we’re trying to keep it simple and we’re going to cook breakfast with our Megachef burners on our tailgate… received to minor electrical shocks. Unplugged it brought the Coleman gas grill and finished breakfast. I took a look at the electric grill and saw two bolts underneath… I’m thinking one and/or both may have come into contact with the tailgate. This is fixable, I’ll get these covered with an insulator… recommend you guys to take a look at your grills and do the same.

Very easy to use. It serves my purpose, as we will be moving in the next few months and my range completely went out. I did discover that while I’m preparing food, go ahead and preheat the burner. When the pan is placed on burner it is already heated and doesn’t take as long to heat contents in pan.
