Very impressed with this product. Extremely quiet and easy to use. Out of the box it was within one degree of my Thermopop thermometer (accurate digital instant-read thermometer). The most recent cook was 24 hours using a 56 quart cooler as the water container. Once to temperature, and using a thin thermal cover on the water to help prevent evaporation, the temperature never fluctuated.I have recommended this circulator to several friends.

I am new to sous vide but am a convert. This tool is very easy to use, with simple controls (love the thumb scroll to set time and temp) and the numbers are large and easy to read from across the kitchen. I have a small kitchen so moving this work aside from the busier areas is a huge plus. Try foodwishes.com and Chef John’s sous vide duck breasts if you want to prove to yourself this is worth the purchase. 🙂

It works well but the instruction booklet is short on explanations – for example – the temperature calibration – they might usefully point out that the device may not be set up in a factory at the user altitude – this makes a significant difference. Also – they say press buttons but they mean touch and release – if you hold the buttons down they do not behave as expected. I have used other sous vide equipment so could get it where I wanted it in terms of operation but the instructions might be difficult for first time sous vide users

Clear instructions for care and use but no recipes. Check the Internet to get basic recipes and lots of cookbooks are available. I made a New York strip steak right out of the gates. BEST EVER! Buy this thing.
