My family has always been a fan of MegaChef products, and this kettle has more than exceeded our expectations! We love the blue light, auto shut-off feature, touch-to-release button, and the 90-degree angle of the lid when it flips open. My only criticism is the cord doesn’t tuck neatly under the cutout, but some gorilla tip fixed it. This kettle was so nice I bought two and gave one away as a gift!

The only reason I have rated 4 stars is because when pouring your hot water into your mug or cup the water is also coming out from the lid. Besides that its new so everything till now is fine. My main concern was the pastic taste. Thankfully it had no plastic taste.

The kettle offers everything listed in its specs, and works as expected. It is a very good electric kettle with a fast heating element. The only thing that could be improved is the pour spout; it pours slowly and has very little tilt-angle difference between pouring through the spout and pouring through the lid.
