Featuring a thin and lightweight design, this calculator-style numeric keypad can pair with up to three Bluetooth 5.0-compatible devices and is backward compatible with Bluetooth 4.0. It works especially well alongside compact keyboards and Windows 10 or 8.1 laptops, with 1.35mm scissor switch keys to help ensure smooth operation. Downloading and installing the Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center software allows you to program the keys with custom macros and frequently used symbols. The keypad has a range of up to 33′ in open areas and 17′ in typical office environments. It’s also designed to operate for up to two years using a single included CR2032 coin battery. Once you’re done number crunching, you can quickly pack the keypad away in a bag or pocket.

I really didn’t know how much I loved the number pad on the keyboards I’ve had for 30 years . . . until my 15 Surface didn’t have one! I only worked with one spreadsheet before I bought this. The Bluetooth is seamless, and its touch is just like the Surface keyboard. Very satisfying.

The number pad itself is well built and I like how it runs off of a single button battery that lasts a long time. One function I use a lot is the multi-computer pairing. It can connect up to three devices and so I don’t have to keep pairing and repairing. The only reason I deducted on star is that there is a delay when using it right after it wakes up. It’s good in the fact that the sleep mode helps save battery, but it can get annoying trying to use right after it sleeps. The number pad goes to sleep within ten minutes from what I have found and if you aren’t typing on it constantly, then make sure to wake it up. Other than that, this product is great.
