I’ve been using these for our business for a year or so and they are just fantastic for the price. As a web cam in general you can stop looking with this one. It comes with a privacy cover which is nice, the flexible stand works great on it’s own or atop a monitor or on a standard tripod mount which makes it all kinds of flexible as far as where it can be placed. No other web cam that I’ve seen has better mounting options. It has a nice visible LED when in operation, a pretty good mic built in, good positioning with the ball mount on the camera that allows for a good range of motion to get the right angle. The resolution is good for it’s size and it has a protective glass plate so you don’t touch the lens. It works great as a standard webcam for audio and video and works well in a conference room setting. It is made well and will last if taken care of. Of all the devices I buy on a regular basis for work and personal use, this is one of the best investments in general I’ve made as far as price to flexibility, longevity and a device that stays relevant for a long time. It should be a standard device in your IT bag, in your home setup and in every employees office.

We use this for our daughter to talk back and forth with her son who is 2..(which means he is being raised at his poppy’s house)..so far everything works good Exceptfor the Auto Focusing which happens every time you move or whenever it wants to change it’s own view of things around you.a 2 year will not be still anyway.so,we will live with that because it is a good product in my opinion..the picture is great and no complaints there….my advice is to be as still as you can when you are close to it and having some type of full room lighting is a plus….low light is ok but i think the focusing issue is worse in that scenario..the images will only be as sharp as your monitor will allow.so play around with the monitor to get the best picture..most of the time it’s not the camera.

I bought LifeCam along with a C920 to see which one was best. They are equal. But, don’t expect a big camera. This one will fit in the palm of you hand.

This webcam takes good video at a reasonable price. The integrated microphone picks up pretty good, with little background noise. The only complaint I have is that when recording video with an external mic, the sound doesn’t align with the video.

I use this webcam to have conversations with friends, it is easy to set up, and pretty much does what a webcam will do. The picture is crystal clear. I am very satisfied with my purchase. As always, speaking for myself, I am very at ease with all the purchases I have made from B&H, as I feel with all confidence that should something be wrong, or amiss they will do their best to make the problem right. This is the best feeling one could possibly have, when ordering online.

Exxcellent choice. I really like it. The only downside is the refocus, every time you move it gets slightly foggy and returns to focus. Otherwise very sharp picture. I use it mostly for video conferencing.

Using this product for video chats to various continents. It was dead easy to install and set up in Windows 7 – plug it in – seriously, that’s all I had to do – windows did the rest! Comes with a lens cap – nice touch and much appreciated! Not thrilled that the microphone is live all the time so as a result it stays unplugged unless I’m using it. The USB port is on the front of the PC so it takes a second or 2 to do this.

I use the cam with Blue Iris camera streaming/recording software to view live over the web and also record motion. The cams works flawlessly and provides HD quality video. Great for security or just live video viewing of your home. Does not have night vision so don’t expect any night video. But this cam is primarily for video conferencing and chatting.

I am using the camera in a photobooth. Was afraid that I would not get a clear picture but was surprised at how great the pictures turned out. Surpassed my expectations!

Overall a great piece of equipment. Able to set up on a table tripod, but the head is flimsy and if lots of motion on the table, it gets shaky. Great to cover deposition hearings, static head shots, and office communication via webcam applications.

For the price the camera works as good as expected. It will automatically adjust to compensate for the amount of light needed to have a viewable picture. The only issue I found is the ability to record in 1080p resolution which requires additional software not supplied by Microsoft. Overall I would recommend the camera.

This webcam is great for anyone who wants to do anything from skype call to live stream. This camera has great quality for the price. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a cheap and reliable webcam.

The picture is sharp and clear. The automatic focus work well on the webcam too. You can place it to the top of your monitor and it’s stable. The webcam has a 5 1/2 UBS cable that isn’t shown in the picture. You don’t need to buy a cable unless you need a longer cable. The webcam comes with a lens cover, but it doesn’t fit tightly, so it fall off if you’re not careful. My only problem with the product is that the product doesn’t tell you how to connect the product to Windows 8.1 well. You have to download the software which is a little confusing. I had to go to YouTube to figure out how to get it to work. Once I got pass this problem the Webcam worked fine. It’s a good webcam once you figure out how to get it to work. It should be instructions in that regard. I recommend the webcam if you have Windows 8 or 8.1.

A high-precision glass element lens covers a new 1080p-capable, auto-focus sensor. It brings in more light than the prior model and is optimized for working well in lower-light environments. The LifeCam Studio also includes a larger, higher-fidelity microphone than before.Rubberized mount can sit atop a desktop or laptop lid without marring the frame. The LifeCam Studio is an excellent buy.

I have always been happy with Microsoft Webcams and this one is on different. Excellent picture quality and easy setup and use. I recommend this cam to anyone. Just wish they would have operating systems that worked just as well…LOL
