The LifeCam Cinema WebCam for Business Windows from Microsoft is a compact USB 2.0 camera with a high-quality glass lens that’s great for your business conferencing needs. The autofocus camera can capture 720p HD widescreen video at a fluid 30 frames per second. It uses ClearFrame technology to enhance video recorded in poorly lit environments, and features an integrated digital microphone for audio capture.
The camera’s body is constructed from aluminum, which reduces its weight while at the same time improving its durability. A flexible stand is included, allowing you to position the camera with ease. The Windows Live Call button allows you to launch your favorite video chat or conversation software with ease. The bundled software allows you to apply fun video effects, create your own movies, and upload still photos to the web. The camera is compatible with many popular IM clients, including Windows Live, Yahoo! Messenger, AOL Instant Messenger, and Skype.

It’s a very good WebCam. Nice video quality. Current Skype and Live Messenge does not support 720p though. And video in 720p does requiring a faster than slow computer ;).

I had a logitech that was less than 2 years old. Logitech jacked me around for nearly a month before saying they would not support the model I bought under Win 7. Lesson learned buy Microsoft. I got it for a great price from B&H, installed it in less than 30 minutes and it produces excellent quality images with little tweaking. Great product, great company to buy from.

This is a great webcam. It works best on Windows 7 and Vista 64bit make sure you have enough RAM and your CPU can handle it. The two systems I had it on one Core 2 Duo 1333FSB 3.0Ghz 8GB Windows 7 64bit. The other Pentium 3.0Ghz 8GBRAM Windows Vista Home 64bit. It’s a lot slower response time on the Pentium CPU setup. Either way though it works great clear picture and I will most likely buy another and another and I will start offering them with my systems.

I am using this product to communicate over Skype and also to create visual tutorials on how to do various PC task. The quality of video is outstanding for the price. I understood that I wasn’t buying a Camcorder and of course there are some flaws. Does poor in low lighting. If you move back and forth the image continuously goes out of focus until the WebCam can catch up. If you are looking for an HD quality Cam to do quick video snap shots then I would recommend it. Again, This is not a Camcorder but it is a great little WebCam for basic shots in a well lit room.

This web cam has great picture and its ability to adjust to low lighting conditions is a nice quality also it has fun included software that gives you some special effect ability. Its base makes it easy to clip to a monitor or a laptop. I have used it to broadcast in High def and it looks great. For the price its the best web cam you are going to find

I do not actually use this camera for it’s intended purpose. I keep the camera hooked up to my computer for photographing new inventory. The photographs are solely for records and it serves the purpose well. Small and easy to keep stored at my computer, automatic focus is wonderful, easy to use. The only negative is that no matter the lighting the images tend to come out a little dark but that doesn’t really matter for my purposes.

I use this camera with skype. Great Things . The picture looks great using its own software or Msn. . Perfect image with veeeery low light! Impressive. . Colors are just fantastic. Not Great at all . When using skype, it says that is not a HD webcam……so skype doesn’t recognize all its capacity of HD image. . You have to have a powerfull computer to run in HD mode, I have a Core 2 Duo E4600 2.4Ghz with a XFX GeForce 9600 GT XXX Edition and it uses 60% of my CPU Memory. . When recording, it has a anoying frequency sound. . And last, auto focus at night it just don’t work….sad but true…..it keeps trying to focus even if you are not moving at all. But maybe Micrsoft will change that in a near future in a new firmware release.
