The LifeCam Cinema WebCam for Business Windows from Microsoft is a compact USB 2.0 camera with a high-quality glass lens that’s great for your business conferencing needs. The autofocus camera can capture 720p HD widescreen video at a fluid 30 frames per second. It uses ClearFrame technology to enhance video recorded in poorly lit environments, and features an integrated digital microphone for audio capture.
The camera’s body is constructed from aluminum, which reduces its weight while at the same time improving its durability. A flexible stand is included, allowing you to position the camera with ease. The Windows Live Call button allows you to launch your favorite video chat or conversation software with ease. The bundled software allows you to apply fun video effects, create your own movies, and upload still photos to the web. The camera is compatible with many popular IM clients, including Windows Live, Yahoo! Messenger, AOL Instant Messenger, and Skype.

I purchased this webcam to collimate my Newtonian telescopes, with minor modifications it fits in the barrel of an old eyepiece and makes it a little easier to adjust a secondary mirror after reinstalling it. A very clear , high definition image.

I primarily use the webcam on Skype. Works great. Very easy to setup. Using Windows 7 with i7 processor. Color and resolution are very good. Sound is good as long as speakers are below camera mike. Otherwise other person hears echoing. Also considered Logitech Pro C910. Price was the deciding factor. $ vs $80. Would buy again. Very Pleased.

Picture quality and white balance is great with out of the box settings. Sound is good too. Autofocus can be shifty if light is not adequate or the subject moves fast or often. However you can use manual focus if that happens (using supplied software settings). The supplied software is adequate for camera settings with no fancy gimmicks. I use it for Skype and web conferencing and works fine for me.

As far as webcamera’s go, this is probably the best I’ve seen. It doesn’t move when you don’t want it to, but is still easy to maneuver. The only drawback is that the clip-base of it doesn’t fit my monitor nicely, so I just attach it to other stuff. I didn’t install the CD, and don’t plan to, as it works with my current program.

Great quality. Installed without a problem, on Windows XP Pro System. Took about 30 mins to load the software, but no problems. Auto-focus is nice, always nice and clear. Wanted a good quality camera and this is it.

So far I’ve used this cam on a desktop and notebook…both running Vista (Home P. and Ulitmate resp.). I’m an online teacher so I’ve tried several webcams and by far this is the best. As it has a wide capture area, be sure to hide your dirty socks on the floor.

Overall this is a quick set-up and has a good picture. In strongly lit rooms (with windows on one side) the camera has a difficult time finding a happy lighting medium and leaves my face washed out. In normally lit rooms it works great. One reviewer said is did not work with Mac computers?????? I have 2 of these webcams, and one is mated to a Mac mini-mac with external monitor, and the other is working with a Mac Air, external monitor. No problem on set-up or use at all.

I just bought LifeCam Cinema WebCam from BH. I am impressed with this camera. Its picture quality (both still and video) is high standard with lots of details can be seen. Wide angle coverage gives the eyes a pleasure. The audio quality is good too. Its look and built is very nice. It has got some extra features, which my son enjoyed a lot. Its one of the best web camera for the price.

Had a lot of hope that this would do what I needed. It does for the most part, but the audio is lacking a bit and the auto focus is annoying. It’s forever trying to focus. I finally figured out a good balance with the lighting so it would slow down the auto focusing. The still pictures look good and the so does the video. The constant auto focusing is really where my issue lies. I could even deal with the audio, but the auto focus is a real put off.

When I first hooked this thing up, it was pretty awesome. I hooked it up to a computer with windows 7, and a computer with XP. The video quality wast perfect, but it was better than what I used to have. It took pretty good video’s and since I use this alot to use sign language video’s, that was pretty important. however, after about 2 weeks of using this product, the video’s I took started getting rather distorted, on both computers. for instance, the video part would speed up to twice the speed, then slow down, and the audio would cut out, or vice versa. The entire shoot was ruined, and I needed to take it again. It was incredibly frustrating. it got worse and worse until I eventually gave up, and now I am writing this review. its a good camera, but remember, nothing is perfect.

Easy to use, that is a thing we needed for our live stream. Flexible stand can fit a variety of ways to set the camera. I cannot speak about the audio we are using a different mic set up.
