The LifeCam Cinema WebCam for Business Windows from Microsoft is a compact USB 2.0 camera with a high-quality glass lens that’s great for your business conferencing needs. The autofocus camera can capture 720p HD widescreen video at a fluid 30 frames per second. It uses ClearFrame technology to enhance video recorded in poorly lit environments, and features an integrated digital microphone for audio capture.
The camera’s body is constructed from aluminum, which reduces its weight while at the same time improving its durability. A flexible stand is included, allowing you to position the camera with ease. The Windows Live Call button allows you to launch your favorite video chat or conversation software with ease. The bundled software allows you to apply fun video effects, create your own movies, and upload still photos to the web. The camera is compatible with many popular IM clients, including Windows Live, Yahoo! Messenger, AOL Instant Messenger, and Skype.

Definitely a step up from the webcam in my phone or laptop, this camera gives a clear picture and is easy to set up Mac or PC. I use it on both. My only one wish is that it was more flexible in terms of how it mounts to surfaces, but I’ve made it work.

If you’re looking for an easy to use webcam with high image quality (especially in low light) this is the right one for you. It looks bigger in the product pictures but it’s actually small enough to use as a laptop webcam. I have been using this on Windows 7 64-bit and it works great.

I have a Microsoft Lifecam VX-6000 on my laptop. I bought this LifeCam Cinema for my desktop. I used both communicating withg the same person to compare the two. The LifeCam Cinema performed so much better on both ends of the communication than the VX-6000. I wish I had purchased two LifeCam Cinemas. The quality on my computer and my friends computer was outstanding. I also love the shape of the LifeCam Cinema a lot better than the VX-6000. I have yet to find anything negative about this WebCam.

If you are looking for a superior web cam, look no further. Crystal clear quality, easy step and fun picture and video altering software. We use this camera mainly for skype and occasionally for home videos with the kids. The folks we call on skype can’t beleive how clear our video appears. Awesome product!

The LifeCam Cinema is an excellent video camera for tasks such as videoconferencing. The color detail, sharpness and auto-light control are all excellent for a camera in this class. The base is also easily maneuverable for various installation locations. We’ve been very satisfied with the performance overall and cannot find any major drawbacks.

Pros: -Compact and attractive design -Easy to set up -Easy to use (Windows 7 64-bit) -Clear picture (decent in lower light) Cons: -Auto focus system can be off (although I read about this prior to purchasing) The only negative is the auto focus software. I was aware of the issue prior to purchasing (a lot of online reviews regarding this). However, all of the positives outweigh this one negative.
