The black Arc Mouse from Microsoft connects wirelessly to Windows-based systems via Bluetooth technology to provide clutter-free mouse cursor control. The Arc features a large touch-sensitive surface that lets you perform left and right clicks as well as scroll vertically and horizontally. For travel, you can snap the Arc flat and easily slip it in your pocket or bag, without the bulk of a traditional mouse. When in use, the Arc pops up to fit the natural curve of your hand. Additionally, the mouse has a wireless range of up to 32′ and is powered by two supplied AAA batteries.

I recently bought this mouse to go with my new Surface Laptop 4. It did not take much to adjust from the old school mouse design, and in many ways improves over those old designs. It simply feels more ergonomic, with the arched design. It still accomplishes what a mouse should. I have always disliked scroll wheels, and yet, require the ability to scroll both vertically and horizontally, which is incorporated in scroll-wheel less fashion. It glides seamlessly on my desk (other surfaces, too!) when moving the mouse around. It really feels no different than other mice, and is very precise. I have no issues. The only flaw I have found so far is turning it on and off. This is not the mouse’s fault, though, as I often forget to collapse the mouse. It’s unusual to power it this way, so often I leave it in its arched position. I was wondering if this would affect battery life, but mine has yet to drain them. All in all, it’s a very good product, that I would recommend to others.

This is the fourth one of these that I’ve used because the design is perfect for my needs. The first two were wi-fi but this and the third one are bluetooth. I use #3 with my Dell laptop and #4 with a MacBook Pro. They flatten out to switch them off which saves the battery and store easily in a laptop case or even temporarily in a shirt pocket. The two AAA alkaline cells last about four months with daily use, even though I sometimes forget to switch them off.

This is an amazing mouse, the design and performance is really good. I was using it on my new ASUS ZENBOOK DUO and it was working pretty well than expected. A few days later it fell down from my desk and never worked since then. It shows that it’s ON, but when I try to connect it to my laptop, it doesn’t show on the list! I don’t know if they are all not durable, but I was sad they stopped working this soon!
