a bit uncomfortable hand position

the keyboard and mouse are awesome. the mouse has a super light click, keeps the wrist in a normal position, and the scroll wheel is also soft to turn and click. I think the windows button on the mouse is silly, but it doesn’t hurt.

The alphabets and the number keys work fine but the F keys are like rubbers and its kind of hard to press them. The dongle that comes with it is so long (almost 1.5 inch) that it sticks out too much from your computer. If you dont take out the usb dongle every time you put your laptop in your bag, you risk damaging the dongle. If you damage the dongle, neither microsoft nor B&H will do anything about it. This is what happened to me. I contacted B&H and they told me to contact microsoft. Microsoft said they will not replace the damaged part or give me a new keyboard. So I am left with a working keyboard and mouse with broken USB dongle, which will now become a toy for my son. Disappointed with B&H too.

I first started typing in 1968 when I took typing in High School. In 1969 I joined the USAF and my job as a Ground/Airborne Radio Operator required me to type, minimum at 35WPM with Five or less errors WITHOUT looking at the keyboard while I typed in a five-minute timed typing session – called touch typing. My USAF career lasted 21+ years where typing was constant; then I formed my consulting business in the Oil/Gas Industry wherein my typing requirements doubled in 1990; in 1994 the Ergonomic keyboards came out and for the next 10-years I had the Logitech Ergonomic Keyboard and Mouse; then in 2004 I switched to Microsoft – the reason for this purchase, I wore out my previous one. I have two keyboards, one for home and one for my travels around the world – always using a laptop but NEVER having to use the laptop keyboard for any extended period of time! Not only have I not suffered from carpal tunnel in my wrists, my typing speed and accuracy increased dramatically. You simply cannot go wrong with this type of keyboard from a health perspective as well as production point of view.

This is the second sculpt keyboard & mouse I’ve purchased. First one worked great for 3 yrs. only had this one for a few wks and the keys stick all the time. Very disappointed in its poor quality.
