I bought it because it is microsoft. I believe in microsoft products and this one delivered well. Just make sure your fingers are scrolling the right way when using the pad. But overall, not bad.

I bought this keyboard to control my computer from my chair in a different room of my house and its okay as long as I have it on a reasonably flat surface that is not my legs nor metallic. My experience is that I have to cycle the power a couple times before my Linux machine responds to it and even though my computer has UEFI firmware, it isn’t recognized until GRUB has loaded. Even when I am in the same room as the computer, I find the trackpad becomes worthless and the keys less accurate if the keys are perpendicular to the ground. My other complaint is that this is NOT Bluetooth so I can’t pair it with my phone or tablet. As long as you aren’t editing firmware settings or using this keyboard at weird angles you should be fine. I definitely like the multi-touch trackpad as it is large and makes dealing with 3D models from my couch MUCH easier and I appreciate that left and right click are marked by a line and actually click.

This is a great little keyboard! I am a windows 10 user. I simply plugged in the blue tooth adapter and I was in business I have used it for about 2 weeks now. It has not been disappointing. I will add external Hard drives to my system sometimes . It will take a second for the system to find the keyboard. Otherwise, it’s very good keyboard!

If it had a trackball instead of a trackpad I’d enjoy it even more, but this wireless keyboard works better than a few other brands I have used up to now for our media center.

Bought this in the account of looking for a wireless keyboard. Read some previous reviews and they were 50/50. If you’re not with in direct site of the dongle then the board is spot on use. Also I didn’t realize till I recieved it that it’s not like a full keyboard as in there’s only one shift key and control keys and not one on each side of the board… if you’re looking for something that’s not big a bulky then it’s okay…I wouldn’t buy this again.

I purchased this to operate an old Mac Mini in my shop as a get-by web browser / iTunes music player. The trackpad — at least in 10.9 — will not register multi-touch input. Which makes navigating the OS rather clumsy. Otherwise, the keyboard itself is fine. To be fair, I’ve yet to see if drivers are available from MS to correct this. Will update – if able – once that determination has been made.

I use these on our sliding rack stations. They fit in a 19 wide space and the built in touch pad works very well.
