The sign pro is easy to set up and easy to use. Just make sure you have the sliding brackets in place to hold the rails together otherwise your letters will fall out during the router process. Otherwise a great product for the money.

This sign making jig is a versatile and welcome addition to my arsenal! The ease of use is one thing altogether but what you get in this jig kit makes it a very worthwhile addition! You get multiple letter sets – not just one alphabet set! – in two sizes PLUS you get vertical number templates as well. If all you are doing is words and numbers then I highly recommend this over a bulky pantograph because it is so compact and easy to store when not in use. I haven’t tried yet but I’m also thinking that it wouldn’t be too difficult to come up with my own fonts and simple image templates. I’d buy this again and again and, as I said earlier, I highly recommend it!

Im a beginner at sign making and using a router as well. However, the concept is great, but youre committed to using their router bits. The length needs to be able to extend through this huge bushing depth. Also, the stencils tend to be flimsy and should have been either a more rigid thicker plastic or perhaps metal…

Takes too long for setup and following directions exactly broke several letters that were thin sidewalls.So just used letters as stencils and traced outline then used router and results were perfect and fast.

When i opened the box I was impressed. Everything was as it was supposed to be and the quality exceded my expection. The base plate fit my Dewalt DWP611 router perfect. Within 45 minutes i had put it together, Clamped it to my work piece and had my first sign engraved. It was so easy to do. If anyone is considering buying this kit…..DO NOT hesitate.
