The Milescraft DrillBlock drill guide jig, allows you to drill straight holes all of the time. With the inserted metal drill guide there is no room for error. The drill block allows for drilling on many surfaces. Equipped with centerlines, accuracy alignment helps guarantee precision.

Works well on a broad surface but not very well on a 1x due to the grove on the bottom. Also, the curved sides don’t allow it to be clamped easily.

Works well to keep the hand drill perpendicular to the wood surface. I would recommend it. I don’t have room for a drill press, dang it, so this will suffice. I got two so I can spend only half the time looking for where I set it last. Ha!

Tool is good for the price. I usually clamp it upside down to get its best hole location. Come to think of it, clamping every time will help you avoid damaged fingers. The Home Depot gal said they don’t stock these in stores, but if they did they’d sell a million of ’em !

For several years, I have been looking for an inexpensive way to drill a straight hole. I do not have a drill press. This drill block does a fine job of keeping me on the straight and narrow. I would like to have some additional drill size options. Otherwise it would be a five-star.
