One of the rubber pads is not all the way into the molded plastic block. This prevents the block from drilling 90 degress from the surface. Fixed this by shaving the rubber. Would rate higher if it had been in good working condition from the start.

A bit difficult to clamp in a few uses, but most of the time this is a great shortcut for straight

Well, definitely not as cheap as I thought it would be — good build quality actually. I like the little red grips for holding it in place too.

It’s easy to use and makes life easy when drilling hole threw doors for hardware.

It’s a great hand-held guide when it’s not possible or efficient timewise to break down the work pieces and have them drilled on the drill press. The v-groove on the bottom can also be used as clamping jig for round pieces and pipes. My only gripe is the bushings don’t go down to smaller sizes but it’s not a deal breaker.

This is an excellent product. I have used it on many occasions to guide my drilling motor when drilling holes that I want to be perpendicular to the work piece.

I like to use this when I don’t want to go to the drill press for a single or just a couple holes.

The DrillBlock by Milescraft helps insure that standard sized holes are drilled at a perfect 90 degrees to the surface you are drilling. The block is small enough to put in your tool belt – being 4 1/2″ long by 1 1/2″ wide and 1 1/8″ thick. It has 6 common-sized holes: 1/8″, 3/16″, 1/4″, 5/16″, 3/8″, and 1/2″. There are 4 little feet that prevents slipping and marring. There’s a built-in center line system for accurate alignment. The bottom side has a 90 degree V-Groove which allows drilling accurate holes on corners or round surfaces. It’s lightweight but durable.
