I’ve tried other drill pumps and they have leaked within days of purchase. But with this one we are going on a few months and it’s still pumping without any leaks.

Worked for getting the last 4” of water sludge from a pool left over the winter. Made cleaning a breeze for $10. Make sure it is properly anchored before starting.

Works really good

Simple enough pump works well if not worked very hard, drill connector is smooth, I think it should have some angels so the the drill has something to grip. But it’s inexpensive, so I can’t complain.

Nicest thing about this drill pump is that it continues to syphon downhill after the drill is off and the outlet hose is disconnected. Others that i have tried require the drill to be running to allow throughput of water.

It worked great. No issues at all.

I had to buy another drill pump (because of an emerengy water problem) while waiting for this ordered one ( Home Depot does not stock this brand) that was on it’s way. After this one was delivered and I got to use it, there was a remarkable difference in performance. This pump works extremely well and there is no priming needed. It even puts out water pressure where the other one was weak. I highly recommend this pump.

Pump was locked up when i got it. I had to take it apart to free it and is still hard to turn but pumps more than the smaller Flotec i bought years ago. Not sure if it is supposed to turn this hard. Might loosen up after more use and re-lube. Really strains the 3/8″ drill i am using. Might have to use my 1/2″ drill for a while. I had to grind(file) 3 flat spots on shaft so drill wouldn’t slip since the pump turns so hard.

Just buy this one, don’t mess with the other, similar versions with lower max rpm. I tried three drill pumps and this is by far the most reliable and efficient. (The other two stopped working within minutes). Works with a cordless drill just fine too.
