I like using this to drill my dowel holes, but I wish it came with bits that have depth guides. I use the old school method of painters tape to ensure I don’t drill too deep. This is a great jig to ensure you drill straight instead of at an angle. This is a must have if you are not good at drilling straight.

I’m metagrobolized over rating systems such as one to five stars. They are easy to evaluate but have limited options for exceptions. I couldn’t give this item 1 star nor could I give it five stars since I haven’t used it yet. It looks to be well made of materials suited for non commercial use. It’s colorful with the red fence and brass inserts. The printing is neat and appears to be spelled correctly. But it’s too soon to evaluate how it performs.
