The Milescraft Feather Board worked well when used to rip boards. I don’t have to clamp a home made wood featherboard to the table saw anymore. The only issue was that the feather board didn’t connect to the fence in order to hold down the boards I was trimming. The featherboard clamp screws didn’t line up with my Ridgid saw fence grooves. .

It works great on vertical boards when creating a tongue or groove using the Dual Feather Board on the table saw. Using a single Feather Board on a horizontal board helps control the cut since you only have to push down and forward and not have to hold it against the Rip Fence. It makes it so much safer because of the added control. Also it stops kickback. Definitely 5 star rating.

This item can not only be used for a tall or wide tandem feather board, but can also be split into two regular single feather boards. It has 2 sets of 3/4″ miter slot hardware & 2 sets of 5/8″ miter slot hardware as well as T-Bolts for fences that work with them. This the only feather board maker I have seen that has hardware for saws and router tables with 5/8″ miter slot (3/4″ is standard). Many lower end or bench top models now use 5/8″ but few accessories are available for them. You can use this product on any setup I have ever seen. Thanks Milescraft for making and Home Depot for selling such and awesome product.

I like the fact that you can use it stacked or take it apart and have two feather boards for two different machines. Having it delivered to my local Home Depot was cheaper than any other place I looked at!

Purchased as part of using up a gift certificate because I wanted a featherboard for my RIGID table saw. I have only used one of the boards at a time in the horizontal position. That worked fine. It came with a number of fasteners for various assembly combinations and t-slot configurations. Very little on assembly instructions, so have not figured that out as I have not needed that yet. Non of the slot screws seem to fit my table saw guide so have not figured out how to mount the featherboard vertically yet.

I got more than I thought I would get when I bought this. I bought it primarily to support boards turned on edge through my router table and it works well for that. But I found that It also can be taken apart and used with one horizontal feather board and one vertical. Variety of bolts and tracks allows for many different configurations. Home Depot’s price was much lower than anywhere else that I saw.
