These ultra-short drill bits are the perfect solution for drilling holes in confined or hard-to-reach spaces. The 5-Piece Metal StubbyBit Set from Milescraft includes a handful of the most commonly used bit diameters to bore through wood, plastic, metal or other thin materials. The 1/4 in. hex shank is suitable for use in many quick-change drill chucks and resists slippage to provide maximum control, even when used with a right-angle attachment (sold separately).

I was pleasantly surprised by how well these drills cut through a broken bolt on the underside of my car. The location of the broken bolt made it necessary to use a right angle drill adapter and a stubby drill bit. The right angle adapter I bought only accepted hex shank drill bits so this product filled the bill. I don’t know how well these drills will stay sharp over time, but they did the job I needed done.

I needed these bits for a job on my car where I had little room and used right angle drill adapter. The bits cut the metal quick though the 5/16″ bit broke as soon as it went through the metal catching on the side of the hole.
