This purchase was to replace a stolen drill that was the exact same as this drill (1/2″ Hole Shooter). I had this drill for over 20 years and used it often and for multiple large projects. This drill worked great and withstood much abuse… One word of caution, this drill has a lot of torque, so use the removable hand brace where the drill may bind or this drill will twist our of you hand…

This is the benchmark against all drills ever made. It is a solid heavy ultra rugged tool, with awesomely smooth speed control. Perfect for shop/industrial use. My drill came with a Jacobs chuck, need I say more. It can take anything you can throw at it. I bought mine over 23 years ago and it is still running like the first day!

I love Milwaukee but really found the grip on this drill too small for my hands – and I don’t have overly large hands. Otherwise, I’m very pleased.

I have build several houses with a single magnum drill. No problems.

This drill met my expectations. It replaced one similar that was 40 years old. Has great trigger control for variable speed and lots of power. Spend the money and get this drill. You will never be sorry

Have purchased this same model over the years. The older models were much better made in the USA. The last few came from China but were almost as good. Then the latest one came with a different side handle with a cumbersome extension that can not be shortened. My employees were some what disappointed.

This is the best AC general purpose drill you can buy.I had to repair mine when someone ripped the cord out of the bottom of the drill with a hand truck. Everything fell from the hand truck, but the cord was showing bare wire.Disassembling the drill is simple and the inner electrical connections and parts are all top quality. The cord physically failed before anything within the drill was damaged.Attaching a new three wire cord salvaged from a 20′ computer ac power cord was as simple as you’d expect.Put the case back on, and it works flawlessly to this day. This is worth twice it’s price.

I had a older Version of this drill and the older one was a lot more powerful then the new one. Do you sell a brush kit for this drill?

Incredible torque. This was a replacement for a 15 year old one that I cooked with a 5 inch hole saw drilling 1/2″ steel plate

Bought mine in 1982 to drill up to 3/4″ auger bore marine bits through huge trees. It likely drilled through a thousand feet of oaks, sometimes working 50′ up. Never failed me. No repairs. I retired from constructing high events challenge courses; I now use it at home. Tonight’s use was to back out 3″ deck screws to replank a 15-year-old deck. It’s variable-speed function is awesome too. I can just bump the trigger to crack a screw loose, bump & tap maybe 10 times, then use variable-slow to remove screws from 2x6s. My brother, a home builder, didn’t think it would work and wanted to loan me his 18-V. My Milwaukee MHS worked better than a portable could have. It could break a wrist if used carelessly, so I’ll use the side handle if there’s possibility of hanging inside the wood. I expected them to be $200+ now, but today’s cost is in line with what I bought mine for. “Best In Class.”

I have used this drill around the house, building furniture, rebuilding cars and trucks, fabricating steel, anchoring in concrete since 1985. Any time I need serious power while drilling. I do take good care of it and it has NEVER let me down. If I ever break it, I will buy another one just like it.
