spend a little more and get this drill. its heavy duty and better built than the regular magnum series drills. this is the magnum hole shot series. geared down a bit more and enough torque to rip your arms off.

A few years ago, Consumer Digest published an evaluation of various half-inch corded drills. There was only one gaping hole in their collective evaluation. For some unfathomable reason they neglected to include the Milwaukee Hole Shooter! I thought, “You have to be kidding!” They had simply omitted the best drill on the market. I worked as a professional carpenter for years, and very early on learned just to go ahead and spend the money to buy the best tools available. I bought this drill to directly replace another, older, nearly identical model, which had gotten damaged beyond repair on a job. I had used that tool for over twenty-years. For power and ergonomics, not to mention sheer on-the-job toughness, this drill has no peer. AND, it’s beautiful!
