I purchased this drill to drive 2 screw jacks for lifting cars. 850 RPM is a perfect speed and it has plenty of power for this task. The long trigger is comfortable and very adjustable. It fits my hands very well and the top of the drill has a grove for your fingers should you need to push into your work. The offset handle has positive detents to keep it from spinning which is a good thing, given the amount of torque this drill developes. It feels well made and I am pleased with the purchase. Would have been happier if it was made in USA.

Light, easy to handle. Milwaukee has maintained its quality over the years.

Exactly what I was looking for. With the 850 RPM it is more than enough for a DYI’er. I will be using it for all around the house projects. Feels great in the hand and the extra grip helps when performing heavier duty jobs.

I bought this Milwaukee drill because I needed a powerful portable drill motor ( Non-battery powered) to use at home. I have used the same model drill motor at work for many years and have never had a problem with it and it has always performed well for me. I feel very conffident that I can expect the same perfomance from this new drill motor I just purchased from Home Depot.

Has power but wobbles as others mentioned, guess it’s not suppose to be a precision tool really. I like the variable trigger and quick change side handle.

I have been using this model for over 40 years and have found it to be one of the best, most reliable and powerful hand drill that I have used ( short of Milwaukee’s “Hole Hawg” right angle drill). The one I purchased was the display model which, due to being on display since the store opened was one of the few remaining new drills still “made in the USA” Not sure how the China import model will hold up or perform. Since this one (which replaces one lost in a shop fire) will probable be the last one I will need to buy, I probably will not have a chance to find out. This drill performsevery bit as well as my 40+ year old model, GREAT!!.

This is my first tool purchased from the Milwaukee brand. I bought it to replace my very old Craftsman drill. I was amazed at the power, quality, and speed of this product!!! I drilled very deep pilot holes, mixed paint, and even used it to help roll up a pool cover!!! I would purchase this product again, and another Milwaukee product! These are very high quality tools! This is a must for any garage and home!

great drill but due to weight, when using it to as a screwdriver I keep depressing the trigger while trying to keep it raised, then I have to wait for it to stop spinning before I can start driving the screws.

Only drawback to this drill is the lack of a case. Very solid feel for a smaller drill, lots of power. Should work well for most household needs.

This is a strong drill that is easy to control as the pistol grip is well-designed and the front grip can be rotated into any desired position. The front drill housing is metal and cast so perfectly that I first thought it was plastic.I first used this drill to install grease fittings on my 36” Stanley snow-blower. The added control was welcome as great care is needed when voiding your warranty on any product.

Uncovered a small boulder in the back yard, and where it was positioned next to the foundation, swinging sledge hammer wasn’t an option.Purchased a Masonite bit, and started drilling holes into that rock and used a framing hammer to just start flaking it apart !This drill never gave up, it will make you fearless !

We needed a drill with low speed and great power. This drill delivers. Drilling stainless steel with large bits is not problem, taking it slow with this drill.
