I had an old 25 YO Sears 1/2″ drill that finally gave out. I was so happy to find this one on sale. It is light and has worked well in just the few weeks I have had it. Very light and easy to use and all angles.

If you buy only one drill your entire life, this could and should be the one. There is no better drill currently made. I have 2 of these. One is almost older than I am and was used in a machine shop daily for over 20 years. This model is actually better than the 8amp version. It’s a little slow but it stops for nothing. This drill will tear your arm off before it gives up. There are warnings as such on the drill and they should be followed. This thing is a tank, plain and simple. The design hasn’t really changed since it was introduced. No matter what you are drilling, this drill will not let you down.

Good drill. Lots of power

Wow this thing is fast. Got to be careful because you can overdrive your screws. Plenty of torque for everything I have driven. This has become my favorite screw gun.

Drill just needed a bit more power .. every good drill and recommend it

I used Milwaukee drills many years ago when I worked as a carpenter, but since I switched careers I haven’t used them in decades. This one is just as good now as they were in the past. Milwaukee doesn’t waste time making useless changes to their tools, but they do make them better — such as the rubberized grip along the top of the handle and the top sides of the body on this drill. Decades ago they did not offer this feature, and I remember occasional grip issues, but this feature eliminates that problem completely. This one also has a better mechanism for positioning and tightening the side handle. I strongly recommend this tool.

this drill was purchased to give us the larger chuck size and to be able to have more power to drill into any product we needed to. We had to extend our trailer to accommodate larger sizes, and this drill drilled into and thru 3/4 inch green treated plywood and thru 1/4″ steel like it could do it all day. Only problem was breaking drill bits, but that can be contributed to operator error.

Rugged. strong, bulletproof. Think that sums it up. To use the cliché “you get what you pay for” seems to hold true for most of the Milwaukee products I own.

this drill performed in the expected manner, replaced a very old milwaulkee that finally died and parts were no longer avaible for

Replacement for 3/8 Milwaukee Drill I had for 20 Years that walked off the job. The 3/8 work fine only had to replace cord due to age.

Bought this to mix mortar for my kitchen tile project. Had tried to use my 3/8 and nearly burned it up. This puppy handled the job without even breaking a sweat. Milwaukee still has it!

I build custom truck bumpers as a side job an needed a good powerful drill. This thing will punch 1/2 inch holes through 1/4 inch plate steel all day long an not skip a beat. It will struggle with a 1 inch hole saw on the same steel but it will keep kicking for a good 30 min of hard use. Very impressed.
