I have this drill about 6 months now and use it at least 3 times per week for various home construction related work. The torque this drill generates is better than my corded Bosch. If you’re not careful it will break your wrist. It hasn’t failed me yet and I put it through some tough tasks. For a general DIY it’s probably over kill. But if you make a living in construction you absolutely should own one. Only draw back is it is a bit heavy, but well balanced

This is just like having a corded drill, but the convenience of cordless. This is the second one I’ve bought, and should I need another, I’ll buy it again.

This drill continues to impress me. I have owned Milwaukee 28 volt systems for 8 years and use my tools daily in the oilfields of Wyoming. This drill has the power I need and the battery life to keep me from having to run my generator all the time to charge batteries. When it dips below 0F the batteries need to be warmed up in the truck for optimal performance, but so do I. I am still using my v28 sawzall and circular saw, but recently retired my drill to house duty in favor of the m28 and appreciate all the upgrades. Thanks Milwaukee for building a great product and please continue improving this already fantastic line of tools.

I bought this as a replacement for my husband. He uses his M28 drill everyday. This is his 3rd. He loves the power, and needs this for his job. They last around 5 years.

I got a chance to use the drill today. Seems to be just as powerful as my half inch corded drill which is amazing.I am no fan of key less chucks but the one on this drill works quite well.Home Depot had a good price on this drill compared to other online stores.

I’ve had my V28 for about 9-10 years. She just started acting up this week. one battery is bad and the other says its good but the drill doesnt seem to work still so, i’ll fiddle with it some more to see if it’s a temporary glitch. I think the bad battery might be because i failed to store it with a full charge. This cordless Milwaukee hammer drill has done so much dependable work over the years from drilling holes in concrete for rebar and screwing tapcons, deck screws, and, drywall screws

The power is amazing At heavy duty work you should use the side handle or you came into hospital One question to milwaukee:Will there be the fuel technology on the M28line?

Very pleased with this drill. Strong powerful for any job. We have other Milwaukee 28 volt battery tools so we can share batteries efficiently. Batteries last a reasonable amount of time under long loads. Hammer drill handle is easy to attach so we leave it off in the carry case.

M28 is WAY better than M18

better than that garbage m-18 do yourself a favor the m-28 my be a bit overkill for the home owner i used plenty of m-18’s they did not operate as designed. In fact i brought one had trigger problems returned it for another one with the same exact trigger problem.I used the m-28 commercially the drill takes a beating highly recommend the m-28.
