Very good battery life in high power mode compared to other cordless vacuums (only 7 min for Dyson V11). V11 does have 1.3x more suction but that’s no good because it cuts off when there’s a clog, unlike this one. It would be even better if can also be used as a blower for inflating mattresses or air trak gym mats.

I was so excited when I ran across this vacuum after it first came on the market. How convenient would it make my life cleaning up after projects on the job when getting the corded vacuum was a pain. I was quickly let down when using this for the first time. It has barely average suction for a cordless vacuum, and this was brand new out of the box, as well as ever since. I’ve done a good job at cleaning it and making sure there were no obstructions in the system to get the most out of it, and yet still mediocre at best. I have a very large collection of FUEL products, and am obsessed with nearly all of them, so to fall this short on the mark with this vacuum, it’s frustrating. Especially after paying what it cost! The versatility of changing the batteries and the ease of putting on the straps and walking around are about the only things I enjoy with it. I think Milwaukee is the absolute top dog for power tolls and the like, but leave the vacuums to the folks that do them regularly. I would return it if I hadn’t held out hope for so long that it might grow on me, so now I’m stuck with it. If they could get the power that some of the cordless stick vacuums for household use have, and keep their platform of design and battery changing capabilities, I would have been blown away. i guess I will just chalk this one up to an experimental buy I won’t get any real satisfaction from unfortunately. Big changes would need to be made to justify getting another one of these. Good try though Milwaukee, I love my entire collection of tools, just not this one, and will continue to be a loyal and die hard Milwaukee customer.

The Vacume is nice and convienent to use. It is much quieter than or other vacuum. I am disappointed that the hoses do not fit on the other Milwaukee tools we have.We have the 12” battery miter saw and the sander. The hose will fit on neither one. Why would Milwaukee add a tool in the M 18 Fuel line that is not compatable with there own tools in the same line? Dosn’t make sence!

As a facility manager for a 77,000 sq ft Church, we acquired one Milwaukee ($248) as a test to compare against a ProTeam GoFree Flex Pro Battery Powered Backpack ($1488). The only complaints I have received after 46 days of use (one 12.0 battery per shift) is:– The carpet head does not like to roll freely over the commercial close knit style carpet. I speculate it is due to the rubber catch blade on the bottom of the head that is causing the hangup. (Suggestion, perhaps a braided Aramid fiber, close weave, with a nylon core for rigidity would act as an appropriate air dam/catch and be resistant enough for commercial use? If you chose this design idea, please reach out to compensate the Church) My staff reports the working solution to be an extreme angle of attack, basically, extend tube all the way out and vacuum as far ahead of you as you can reach, this takes the downward force off the back of the head allowing it to spread more evenly on its 4 small wheels.– Suction becomes noticeably diminished when the internal particle vortex screen becomes plugged with dust bunnies or, as shown by pictures, cellulose insulation. Fortunately, the design of the unit is easy enough to clear out the blockage, you’ll just get a little messy doing so. You’ll know when the unit is plugged up when the pitch of the exhaust changes to a higher tone. My staff agrees that the 12.0 battery pack is perfect to handle one shift on the high setting- they all are amazed at how quiet the unit is, as am I, the ease in which to dump its contents and the fit and finish of the components.Overall, we are very pleased with this unit. I would recommend this for use on hard dry surfaces, close office style knit carpet, and use for spot cleaning. I plan to purchase 2 more for use in our facility.

Very convenient vacuum. Uses a lot of battery energy though so it’s best to have a backup battery or two fully charged as a ready replacement at the jobsite. Wish it had more accessories and was wet/dry. Other than that, it’s really a great vacuum.

I agree with the other reviews. I love the vacuum but it needs more attachment choices or an adapter which would allow you to use aftermarket accessories. The hose size is proprietary to this machine.
