If your going to drill a lot of holes for electrical & plumbing this is just what you need. Has all the torque you can handel without a clutch. Have respect for the power and use both hands or it will twist you into a pretzel.

Not the tool it used to be however it is ok with the proper bit. I recommend the Irwin augers they work way better with this than the diablo. Only real issue is having to put it in low to drill anything over 3/4″. You maybe better off buying the dewalt if you want a high gear monster. I do residential electrical with it. Not the cockford-ollie imho!GO MILWAUKEE!

This thing lives up to it name “Hole Hawg”! Really enjoyed all the time I saved, plus the ware and tear it would have done to my smaller drills. It is pricey but if you can afford it, you won’t be disappointed.

We have had issues with the past 3 drills we have purchased. Maybe Milwaukee is using substandard parts compared to years past. The motors are losing power after 3-4 days of drilling out houses. We usually run it 1-2 hrs a day. I have one from 2003 still running strong.

This is the 5th drill like this I have owned. All lasted many years in a harsh work environment.

Overall it is a good product but I highly recommend spending an additional $40 to get the 13 Amp model. The extra power makes all the difference if you are trying to mix thicker products i.e. thinset, or other mortars or sand mixes. I purchased the smaller one in error. I find it useful when mixing less viscous products like paints and coatings. Hope you find this helpful

This was a great drill when they used metal parts, now you’re lucky to get one years use out of them. I had my first one for over 5 years.
