Used this drill to bore 2 1/8 holes in 47 timbers 6x8x8 pressure treated (thru the 6″ part) never bogged down had plenty torque using self feeding bit.

Let me start by saying I am a plumber and I need to drill big holes for PVC. This drill is a power house! no doubt about that. I will not use this drill for holes with a self feed bit that are over 2 1/8” though. It doesn’t have any clutch to slow down the drill so if it binds up on a knot or a nail, it WILL send you flying. For everything smaller, I love it. For larger holes I use the Milwaukee Super Hawg. This is an ideal drill for electricians
