This cordless 4-volt Screwdriver incorporates the latest Milwaukee core technologies in motor, Red Link Intelligence electronics and Red lithium 2.0 batteries, increasing the tool’s power and run-time, while shrinking its size. It has a 21 position clutch with auto shut-off that stops rotation of the bit once the desired torque setting is met. The quick-change chuck allows for one-handed bit changes, and a snug bit grip prevents dropped screws when the screwdriver is inverted. Drill mode easily drills pilot holes or removes damaged screws.

It’s an outstanding product. I use it every day for electromechanical assembly. Don’t let the 4V classification fool you, this thing has plenty of torque. It’s also super smooth and very quiet. Battery life is good, and the 20-position torque setting is also very handy.I originally purchased another name-brand electric screwdriver for ~$20, and out of the box the gears slipped and it sounded like a bunch of gravel was loose inside the motor. I returned it and ponied up the extra $ to get the Milwaukee, and I’m glad I did.

Construction quality is excellent and the driver is powerful. There are two deficiencies: there is no trigger controlled variable speed and also no LED light on the driver.

Just plain awesome!!.. Love the fact it has two speeds And an actual chuck setting for the torque… Much stronger than you would think for a 4 V

Very happy with purchase. Light weight and easy to use. Adjustable clutch. Battery lasts for most jobs, has not let me down yet. Next time I would go with the two battery kit as the batteries are hard to find.

I had the Nicad version of this screwdriver when I was working and I used it a lot. It fits great in my ruller pocket. This one is even better. I use it for things like installing outlets and switches. It also works great for hanging pictures. I have plaster and lath walls, so putting in screws isn’t easy. But this screwdriver does the job. But is didn’t do so well driving #8 x 2″ drywall screws when I was hanging a grab bar.

It’s a little pricey and works well . Would have been better to install the trigger in the conventional location under the handle

Well built. Feels solid and it’s easy to use with good ergonomics. Controls are simple and well placed. It would be good to have ”on board” bit selection but it’s not critical and might make it too bulky. And why include just one Phillips head bit? A standard bit wouldn’t break the bank.

This is the second Milwaukee Screwdriver I’ve bought. I love the one I used at work so much, I bought one for home use. Only thing I would add to this tools’ design is to have a lock on the handles hinge.

They’ve changed their design and all my round shanked bits now need an adapter which adds weight to the unit. It only takes a hex shank now. I used it for carving Styrofoam and it has more than enough torque for that.

I am replacing an older model of this screwdriver that I bought in 1995 and just quit working. 25 years is a great run! I am expecting the new one to perform for just as long and it has a lot of new features.

I purchased this product for light duty applications Instead of using my larger screwdrivers/impacts. Because it can be used as a linear tool vs. pistol grip, it should be able to get into narrower places. I have not used it yet, but I am going on the reputation of Milwaukee tools and expect great results.

I’ve been using 2 of the old generation of this product for 20 + years. The battery tech was outdated and expensive. I’m very happy with the performance of the M4 but sure wish Milwaukee could have figured out a way to make it work using the M12 battery platform as I have 5 M12 tools.

Its the best one out there

I had one of these in the 80’s. Can’t believe they still make them. Very handy to have if you’re turning screws all day long. Cant wait to see how the lithium ion battery lasts verses the ni cad battery the 80’s version used.
