I love this flashlight. It is just the right size for me to keep with my tools and use on my DIY projects. The light is POWERFUL – so powerful my dog was afraid of it! Now, at 325 lumens, this may not seem like a bright light as it would be rated somewhere between a traditional 25W and 40W lightbulb. However, since the beam is focused, it is a light brighter than you might think. The flashlight casing is made out of heavy aluminum and will withstand the rigors of the project site. It is powered by 3 AAA batteries (included) and features 2 beam settings (low and high). At the low beam setting you can expect for the batteries to last up to 18 hours but you are only going to get about 25 lumens out of it. At the high beam setting (the full 325 lumens), the battery is not going to last much beyond 5 hours of continuous use.You can switch from low to high beam simply by pushing the button. Another really nice feature is if you slide the head forward and backward it will narrow or widen the beam.I recently used this flashlight on a DIY project where I was replacing a ceiling light. Now, in the past I would have had to lug a floor lamp into the room, running extension cords to a plug that was not on the same circuit as the light fixture being replaced. All this just to see the wiring to replace the light fixture. With this flashlight, I simply placed it on my ladder pointing up and it lit up the entire work area. I was thrilled as I didn’t have to go through all that bother just to be able to see what I was doing. And, I love the belt loop feature on the carrying case so that I could just clip the flashlight to my belt and quickly access it while I was on top the ladder. Note, the flashlight itself has a metal pocket clip while the carrying case also has a loop with a snap that you can loop around your belt and snap. The heavy casing also would have protected the flashlight had I dropped it while on the ladder (it has a 12 foot drop test rating). Fortunately, I did not have to test that particular aspect!Designed and built by Milwaukee, a company I have grown to absolutely love. We have a wide range of Milwaukee products sold through Home Depot and I can honestly say they are my favorite tools and items in my collection. So well made, so well designed.

The Milwaukee 325-Lumen LED Aluminum Flashlight is a really good value for the price and the holster it comes with it is a great bonus. I was surprised to find that the flashlight was not powered by Milwaukee’s new Red-lithium USB batteries, but the included AAA batteries have done a really good job at powering the unit. The holster it comes with is very well made and the overall construction of each part is great.

A great work flashlight that should handle life being tossed in a tool bag. The aluminum construction is lite but tough. Even the lens of the light is set back in the aluminum chassis to help protect it from scratches and drops. The included holster is nice but I doubt I would use it much due to too many things hanging from my belt now, however, the light is such a great size that it fits comfortably in my pocket.Pros:- great size- uses common off-the-shelf batteries (AAA)- tough construction- comfortable light switch conveniently positioned on the tail- the adjustable beam – spot to flood with a quick slide of the light head- perfect color temperature – more true to daylight- 3 light operation, low/high/intermittent (half press of the button for intermittent) Cons:- although the mounted pocket clip is nice, it’s more of a nuisance to me, especially when accessing the battery compartment. However, the clip is removable.- the battery compartment cap has fine thread on aluminum. Aluminum can gall easy and the fine thread could make it easier to cross thread.Battery life is about what is stated at about 5+ hours on high with intermittent use.

I love this flashlight! It’s small enough to throw in a pocket if you want to (or you can use the convenient holster that comes with it). It is a durable little light, and I think it would feel at home in a drawer, on a shelf, or bouncing around in a toolbox in the back of a truck. It is small, but it packs a punch! It is very bright, especially for its size easily lighting up a large area whether inside or outside. I wish I had several of these!

This is a very solid flashlight that feels secure in the hand. It is very bright and, unlike many cheaper models, the light doesn’t have a dark spot in the middle, whether focused on spot or wide. There are no fancy flashing modes, and only one brightness setting, but for utility I think that’s fine. No need to cycle through multiple settings to turn it off. A sturdy metal clip is integral to the flashlight and it comes with a rugged nylon holster that snaps over a belt and secures the light with a hook-and-loop strap.

*My new favorite flashlight. Very Recommended.* If you’re tired of those everyday bargain bin mini flashlights that come in bulk quantity and you want to step it up to a much nicer quality product than this Milwaukee is for you. Build quality of this light is just excellent. The entirety of it is made of a high grade aluminum with a nice thick rubber button on one end and a very thick and durable lens on the other. I have a hard time believing I’ll ever break this flashlight. It’s rated for multiple drops and is waterproof in addition to being dustproof. The included holster also appears to be well made with strong stitchings, good velcro, and a firm snap button to attach it to your belt. Performance of this light has met and exceeded my expectations. Beam adjustment is easy to do, you pull the head of the light out to switch from flood to spot. On high beam this is one of the brightest mini lights I’ve used. I’m not entirely sure what they are doing with this TRUEview tech they are using, I almost want to say that it’s a warmer than average light, regardless though what I can say it is a very bright and defined light that you can immediately notice a difference with. On flood mode I can nearly fill up my entire backyard with light while spot mode easily meets the rated 377 feet. As for the low beam, its definitely much dimmer yet plenty adequate for most situations if you want to save on the battery. The metal clip attachment can be removed if you don’t need it, I found it to be quite useful though so on it stays. As for the holster, this is one part of the product where I’m not sure that I’ll need it or not. It works just fine though. Do note that Milwaukee sells this same light without the holster at a lower price. Battery life met and exceeded the rated runtime. I set the light to high, went out and did some stuff, and after coming back in well over 5 hours later it was still kicking. Shortly after though it did finally run out. I also want to add that I appreciate the inclusion of 3 name brand AAA batteries. I very much recommend this flashlight. The difference between this and other cheaper lights I have is just night and day. This product is obviously designed for the trades yet as just a DIY guy I’ve gotten plenty of use out of this tool and it’s instantly become my new go-to.

What an awesome little flashlight this is. Don’t let the size of this full you. It’s very bright, and the beam give a nice coverage area. The casing is metal, and had a really nice grip to it. My boy actually dropped this on the concrete floor twice, and no damage was found. This also has a duel beam function, so if you don’t want the light blaring at something your reading, just click the button, and it will lower to 25 lumen. I also really like the clip this has, so no worries on misplacing it. All in all, small big things do sometimes come in small packages. I love it!

I like the 325-Lumen LED Aluminum Flashlight because it comes with a Holster and belt clip. The flash light is water proof and drop proof from 12 feet. The momentary switch is handy for a quick peak at something. The sliding beam focus is great for adjusting from a spot to area focus light. Milwaukee has the best tools but, in this case, you are paying a premium for that quality.

The case made me want to buy it online instead of in store. I wish Home Depot carried this flashlight with the case in their stores. If they did I would buy several more.

Another great product from the people at Milwaukee. This is such a portable, easy to use and is very bright LED flashlight. It is very compact and easy to carry with the belt clip and/or the included holster. This flashlight is built very well and withstood a 12 foot drop from a step ladder to a concrete floor to test it out and it had no issues. And you will like the limited lifetime warranty.

This flashlight comes with a nylon holster. The holster has a flap on top that uses velcro to close the top over the flashlight. There’s a metal button that is on the other side to affix to one’s belt. The flashlight comes with a pocket clip, which is strong. The rear cap has a rubber covering over the on-off button. Clicking the on-off button is audible, not silent. The shaft of the flashlight is knurled. The satin finish is nice. The lens section of the flashlight can be slid forwards and backwards to adjust the beam. When the lens is slid toward the on-off button, it is wide beam. When the lens is slid away from the on-off button, it is narrow beam.As for brightness, this is very nice. I have another flashlight that also uses 3 AAA batteries and multiple round LED bulbs, and this flashlight, at high-power, outperforms it. This flashlight has one square LED bulb. I’ve attached pictures of using the flashlight in a dark room, which are attached to this review. When you press the on-off button, you get the low-power beam first. When you release and press the on-off button, you get the high-power beam. You cannot select to have high or low, you just need to double-press if you don’t get the power you want at first. For that reason, I do not recommend this to first-responders who will want it at high-power first always. For a DIYer, construction worker, someone who works in crawl spaces or attics without lighting, this is great.
